“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Love coming to this Smashburger. The food came out fresh and the service is what keeps my family coming back. Lani and Cesar were working the counter and they provided great service with a smile and checked in with my wife and I often about taking our trays away when we were done. Cesar also came over to provide condiments when we didn’t have some at our table. Today the atmosphere was pretty quiet and the music wasn’t loud. The manager also came over to see how our order was coming along.“

“Honestly, lately I’ve become quite a bit of a burger snob. This is the best cheeseburger I’ve had in quite some time and I constantly come back here because I want that taste again.

If you haven’t had it and you live close by or you’re just passing through on the 91 and you need to pick up a burger and you don’t want to wait at In-N-Out. Call this place up. Tell them you want a cheeseburger with everything on it and you’re gonna be so happy.“

“I normally don’t go out for hot dogs because most places feel basic — just a plain hot dog like you’d grab at a gas station. Nothing exciting.

But this place was completely different. The flavors actually surprised me. The bread was grilled perfectly with a buttery, slightly sweet taste, mixed with a little spice and crunch from the toppings. You can tell they went beyond just throwing a hot dog in a bun. The combination of sauces, crispy onions, fresh ingredients, and toasted bread made the whole thing taste incredible. Your taste buds are basically screaming, “Wow, this is GOOD.”

The hot dog itself honestly wasn’t anything super special, but everything built around it made the experience awesome. If they ever created their own unique signature hot dog recipe instead of using a more standard one, I’m telling you… that would take this place to another level completely.“

“Food is ok, somewhat bland but good portions and speedy service. Dining in is good, clean tables but some neglected areas that could use more attention as the tables were rather tacky and sticky. Good place for a quick bite but nothing to write home about.“

“Th workers were really nice! I told them that this was my first time visiting and that I’d been following them for quite sometime. The young lady at the register took her time with me and was very warming. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and plain wings with the Buffalo sauce on the side and it was very tasty! “When sushi has the correct ingredients, its marvelous. This has the right ingredients, good portions and very elegant flavors, really enjoyed it.

The lady in the front desk is delightful, so customer driven and so happy. I wish there would be more people like her in the world.

“I assume it was the owner or manager who took our order. He seemed very friendly and provided great service. The food was freshly made and delicious. The four of us said we'd all eat there again. It was a nice day outside, so we ate at the covered tables just outside the restaurant.“

“This hidden gem food was delicious. I've lived in Carson all my life & mad that I never ate here. We had the beef fried rice, orange chicken, chicken chop suey, and dumplings. It's been a long time that I had good food like this. If you are in the area please try it. Best for take out not for dinning in.“

“Ericka and Lizette are excellent servers. But, yesterday they weren't there. The woman who took my order did not acknowledge my "Dine-in" request. Our fries were served to us in Styrofoam, "To-go," and the woman, tall, short hair, was not all that friendly.
However, I have been here many times. The food is a little expensive, but fresh and delicious. The cooks and other workers, besides that one woman, are quite hospitable and respond to my Spanish. I'd give it 5 stars, except for the Styrofoam and that woman.“

“I must have gone on a bad day. Kalbi short rib pictures are everywhere but, memo states they are not on the menu. Then I tried ordering Tokyo Wings as advertised on the counter at the register. Memo states they were out of those too. I asked Memo if I order a plate of Teriyaki Chicken, does he have that? He said Yes. The food was good but, options were off.“

“I ordered sinigang beef and sayote beef n shrimp. My most favorite was the sinigang beef. The broth was well balanced with flavors and chunks of beef on bone. No hint of additional oil which made the soup flavorful as you would expect the slightly sour taste of the tamarind yet it was balanced with the right seasonings and veggies. The sayote beef/shrimp was full of flavor but the drawback for me is that it was oily even though the sayote dish is like a sabaw (soup) dish. If you love rice, they pack half the plate with white rice. The total cost for rice plus 2 items came out to $13.19 debit charge. It’s cheaper than other places but I think they have a pay scale depending on what you order. My receipt shows they charged me for a 2 item combo but I had an additional
Charge of .99 cents for the sinigang beef. I guess the rice is considered an item as well. I’m not bothered by the charge since it’s still cheaper than other places I’ve been. So the rest of the food selections look good and well presented. I will come back to try more dishes. Overall my experience was good and the atmosphere is pleasant.“

We have family both in NorCal and SoCal, have traveled to different filipino areas in the US, and this is still the best hopia in town for 20+ years we've lived here! We always get 2.5 dozen munggo and 0.5 dozen baboy. Their empanadas have also been pretty good as well 💛✨️“

“This our favorite breakfast spot near CSUDH. Usually we'll order ahead by phone. The morning menu is a great mix of traditional American and Mexican dishes. Sometimes we'll get Pancakes and Eggs, sometimes Huevos Rancheros but most times it's breakfast burritos that really hit the spot and can carry us till dinner time.
The cafe has been remodeled quite a bit over the last few years and their atmosphere and decor is another wonderful addition to the personality of this great little Mexican grill.“

“Parking lot gets full easily. The food was alright. They didn't have pork bbq when we came. The dinakdakan was good as well as the squid dish and the Sisig. The rude cashier lady who obviously doesn’t enjoy her job.. tried to charge us for two chicharron ($12) when I got 1 chicharron ($6) and a balut which costs $4. I caught that and spoke up. She didn't give us the right amount of change either“

“I've been going here for several yrs now but recently discovered there Shrimp dish in a creamy white sauce w/Pineapple that is Awesome & The rest of they'r food is pretty good also best yet is on Sunday but to plates & You get a 3rd plate free! Can't beat that deal!“

It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to surprise her with food from home so I got several dishes from this restaurant and it was AMAZING. I sat inside to wait for my order since it was a big order.
