“The mood is chill, the staff are really nice. I usually show up early to my doctors appointments just so I can get a really good lunch beforehand. It's definitely a good price for the quality of the food. Wouldn't suggest anyone pass up the opportunity to try their food while there. You wouldn't regret it.“

Melting Pot Food Tours Juice Bar & Smoothies • $$
8149 Santa Monica Blvd #274, West Hollywood

“The best experience for any foodie you know! My friend Jody gifted me one of her MeltingPotFoodTours featuring the Latin flavors of Boyle Heights in East LA and it was the best day ever. Our tour guide was her brother Kerry Flowers one of the funniest people I know, only one of several tour guides. Kerry led us on a historical tour of the neighborhood starting at Mariachi Plaza before we stopped for handmade tastings at 8 of the local family eateries including Birrieria Don Boni. We were happy to get our steps in smelling the aroma of too much great food. We stopped at a marketplace to try spices, and delicacies and shop for souvenirs while listening to live performances. The day ended with a slice of Tres Leches cake and churros. Thank goodness the walk was 3 1/2 hours having stopped at 8 tasting spots to indulge ourselves. I love living in LA and made a promise to myself to enjoy as many neighborhoods and events as the city has to offer instead of waiting for visitors to come to town. Our tour group was ridiculously fun and we all became fast friends. There are tours of the Original Farmers Market, Old Pasadena, East Village Long Beach, Thai Town, and soon a Little Tokyo tour! You can curate a private group tour for friends from small to large groups, or purchase gift certificates. My goal is to accomplish all the tours in 2024!“

The Studio Cannabis Smoking Lounge & Weed Dispensary Cafe •

“One of my best experiences while vacationing in LA! My server's name was Danny and he was an absolute delight! He was tentative and knowledgeable, and gave amazing suggestions. I ordered the beet salad with skirt steak and it was delicious! Strawberry Fields was the suggested infused cocktail and it was super yummy! The Cannabis options were plentiful and potent! Over all, a 10 out of 10!“

Cafe Citrus On Sunset American • $

“Love grilled salmon dish I got doordashed from here! The portion size was definitely enough for me — I couldn’t finish the other half which I saved for later. It’s got the nutrients you need - fiber, carbs, protein. The meal was still warm when it arrived and it tasted hearty and fresh. Would recommend getting a light lunch here! The prices were also not that bad.“

“We had a really delicious breakfast on this rainy Saturday morning. I would say it’s one of the better breakfast options in West Hollywood. It’s a true classic diner that has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a large free parking lot behind the restaurant so parking is really easy. Service was a bit slow for us today, but the food items arrived fairly quickly after ordering once we were able to.They have a fairly large menu filled with all the classic diner options. Today I chose the Crab Cake Benedict and was really satisfied with it. The cake had a great crab flavor to them and were really crispy. I added avocado, which I would highly recommend doing with this dish. I wish they would have hashbrowns as an option because the breakfast potatoes aren’t nearly as good but that is a personal preference. The portion sizes are fairly large here so you will not leave hungry.I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast or brunch option in West Hollywood. I plan to be back in the future to try more items.Parking: free parking lot behind restaurant“

“I am a very proud Alfred fan, and I absolutely love their Melrose/Glossier Alley location! This location has speciality drinks that aren't available at their other locations, so I definitely recommend trying something new here. I got their rose very matcha with oat milk which was delicious - perfect hint of rose and I loved the berry syrup/puree at the bottom. As the name gives away, it is located in an alley so there's no interior seating area, but there are some tables and concrete benches outside along the alley. It is a popular LA attraction, but I do love their drinks so I recommend it if in the WeHo/Melrose area.“

“Fancy looking coffee and pastries, without being as overrun as Alfred's. I came here just wanting food and wasn't disappointed. Their made-to-order dishes are especially nice. Breakfast Burrito: This is quite a breakfast! So many ingredients for nice mélange of textures and flavors. I especially liked the crispiness of the bacon and the hash browns. So I did enjoy the umami taste of the mushrooms, but the texture was a little squishy. They could have cooked them a bit more, so they don't squeak as much. That aside, still a great meal. Sausage Roll: Super thick sausage, especially for a sausage roll. Nice golden flaky pasty shell. Tons of toasted fennel seeds, which added such a flavorful aroma. This too could be a meal by itself. Chocolate Praline Muffin: I do like when muffins have some fillings, since that adds a bit of extra moisture and some more personality. The guy at the counter said it was praline filling, but to me I swear I tasted tahini. Regardless, nice pairing of cakey muffin and nutty filling.“

“I can't believe anyone has given this place any less than a five star review! Our food was absolutely incredible. My boyfriend said his breakfast burrito was one of the best you ever had and my smoked salmon Benedict was amazing. Also, they make a killer Bloody Mary! Every person we interacted with was kind and accommodating. I saw a French male walking around the establishment, who appeared to be the owner, who was taking such good care of the place making sure everything was clean and in order. Amazing experience, amazing staff, I'd come again if I were local.“
