The café itself has a very pleasant, inviting atmosphere, and the quality of the products really stands out. We specifically came for the fresh pomegranate juice, and it was absolutely excellent. Truly fresh, flavorful and clearly made with a commitment to quality. It’s not easy to find genuinely fresh pomegranate juice like this, especially in August.

“We loved everything about this cafe, but the standout was the quality and flavor of their food. Excellent presentation and taste. Great menu, diverse options, and a very clean, chill and welcoming atmosphere. The only room for improvement would be music. The instrumental smooth jazz felt like I was at the dentist. Something more Bohemian, like Supreme Beings of Leisure, Glass Beams, or Baxter would make it really hip.“

“Grade B+ (87): Chicken Caesar wrap what's pretty good, swedish pancakes was okay but not super, the egg sandwich was just average, the creme brulee French toast what's good, croque Monsieur was not very good damn was too thick and something like Black Forest ham which is not what you're supposed to have in a Croque Monsieur. It was a pretty average brunch, the place is nice the people are nice. I would get the chicken Caesar wrap again.“

“I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and a chocolate and banana croissant, they were both delicious and I can’t wait to go back again. Owners were very friendly and provided a great atmosphere. Will definitely be a new go to spot in Honolulu.“

“We have been coming here for years. Their boba drinks are delicious. They recently had a change in ownership and I’m happy to say they are keeping to their great standards. Customer service is also AMAZING and Natalia is the best. When we place a phone order, she asks for our eta to time making the drink so we don’t end up with a melted, watered down drink. I hope the owner of the shop reads this review and recognizes her great work. It’s those small steps that make a spot special. Please go and support a local business.“

“Very friendly worker even when she was swamped with customers. Drinks were very good. I got the strawberry matcha and cinnamon date coffee. Matcha is very refreshing and healthy tasting, doesn’t taste artificial. Do recommend cream top of some kind to sweeten it up, the strawberry was perfect! Coffee was bomb too. Food looks amazing. Will be back :)“

You HAVE to try the croffles, especially the Biscoff cheesecake one! Honestly, I even love them plain.

“So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“This place is hopping! It's always busy, but it does have plenty of seating outside, and a little back corner near the restroom on the right, and then of course in the main area. I'm not sure what exactly makes this place so popular but I will say they do have really good coffee, I heard good burritos though they are a bit small, and I have the salmon toast which was pretty solid. I'm giving it five stars because everything tasted super fresh and again, coffee was strong and balanced and smooth.“

“I grew up in Glendale so I known Mitzee’s for at least 15-20 years!! Your Chef AKA ( your cook ) has been there if not mistaken the same amount of time. Food taste and presentation has been the same since the first time I had it, their hot sauce it’s AMAZING! if you love spicy, if you don’t have high tolerance for spicy stay away or have just a little lol. I know leave in Downtown and when passing by Glendale I make it a stop…“
