“We have been coming here for years. Their boba drinks are delicious. They recently had a change in ownership and I’m happy to say they are keeping to their great standards. Customer service is also AMAZING and Natalia is the best. When we place a phone order, she asks for our eta to time making the drink so we don’t end up with a melted, watered down drink. “This is an amazing place for boba/drinks. The workers are really nice! They were patient and kind. The atmosphere was pretty clean, but there was some trash uncleaned when me and my Mom arrived(around 6pm). The pricing was what I expected, as most drinks are 7-8$ as they are pretty large. I also want to give a special shoutout to the owner. I see her almost every morning with her two little babies, and I truly admire her dedication and work ethic. Running a business is challenging on its own, and doing it while caring for two young children is incredible. This time, I stopped by their Burbank location to try the new peach series, and the Peach Yogurt Yakult was definitely my favorite. “I wasn't having the best day when I walked into Boba Sound in Koreatown. I was frustrated, irritated, and honestly just not in a great mood. The moment I walked in, however, I was welcomed by Kelly, whose smile was as bright as a cloudless morning sun.

Kelly was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave excellent recommendations. I ended up trying the honeydew smoothie with lychee jelly, and it was absolutely delicious—I highly recommend that combination.

What made this visit special wasn't just the drink. Within a couple of minutes of interacting with Kelly, my entire attitude and outlook had changed. Her kindness, charisma, and genuine thoughtfulness made me feel seen and appreciated. She seemed to sense I wasn't having the best day and went out of her way to make the experience better. She even gave me the little bit of smoothie that was left in the blender, which was such a simple but thoughtful gesture.

Great customer service can completely change someone's day, and that's exactly what happened here. I'll definitely be coming back—not just for the amazing smoothies, but for the outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere.

“Located inside LAX-C's plaza is ChaTraMue. It's the quintessential Thai tea joint from Thailand. It was established in 1945 and has been trusted for over 80 years.

They have a variety drinks, but they're famous for the very popular Thai iced tea. I opted for the Thai Tea Slushee, my wife the Original Thai Tea and my daughter the Sala Milk.

For the Thai tea, we opted for 70% sweetness and it was still very sweet. We'll have to try the next one down which is 30% next time we're in the area. The Original Thai Tea would've been perfect if it wasn't so sweet and same goes for the slushee. I felt that if it was less sweet, it would be perfect. Ill have to ask if I can bring down the sweetness of the slushee the next time I'm there. As for the Sala Milk, it was a hard no for everyone. I've never had this before - even in Thailand. Unfortunately, my daughter took a sip and was done with it.

Definitely will come back to try other flavors and adjust the sweetness levels of our drinks. Don't forget to grab yourself some tins of tea to take home and make in the comfort of your home!“

“This place is a must stop if you are within an hour’s drive. Fire Bunny is sweet milk drink with creme brûlée topping. And Thai iced tea soft serve served with fresh hot boba?! Yes please!“

“A new tea shop opening in a crowded SGV, my wife and I visited for their grand opening weekend and we were pretty happy with the experience. Staff here for opening weekend were efficient and quick for the amount of people visiting.

There's self order kiosks as well as ordering with the cashier up front. Seating is limited but just enough for a small cafe I'd say. It's more of a grab and go spot rather than a hangout spot. Inside is pretty spacious though, mostly walking space with small tables and a wall bench. It's also pretty clean and modern. Love the tan color lighting as well as the counter design.

Their menu design is pretty big but not too big. They put a drink cup logo next to the drink options that are popular and my favorites go to the Honey Amber Oolong Milk Tea which happens to be one of their most popular drinks as well. It's refreshing and not too overwhelming. Highly recommend trying this drink.

Overall, definitely a spot that my wife and I will visit again. Their cups are definitely social media worthy as well which is nice. Sturdy cups + cute design = excellent quality.“

“I have been coming here for multiple times for their drinks and so far I love it!
It is a small place for a boba shop but it is a pretty good place to chill when the place is not crowded. The servers are very nice and patient when you are ordering your drinks. The place in general are clean, even with the restroom.
The drinks are fantastic in my opinion, no matter what sweetness level you are going for. My personal favorite/ to-go are the rose cream foam milk tea or formosa ocean. Trust me, I think you will like them if you are a sweet tooth-er or Rose lover. (Good looking drinks for pictures too!)
Try their origanal flavored Formosa Umeyaki too! They are not only pretty for pictures, but crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, specifically when they are freshly made. Great desserts matching with your drinks!“

“I don’t come across many boba shops that serve Four Season Tea—let alone a really good one. I ordered it with coconut jelly, and it was incredibly refreshing and well-balanced, especially perfect for a hot noon day. The tea is light, smooth, and fragrant, with a clean finish that isn’t too bitter or overpowering. The coconut jelly adds just the right touch—slightly sweet and refreshing—giving it a nice texture without taking away from the tea.

It’s simple, but done really well. On a warm day when I want something cooling but not too heavy, this is definitely my go-to!“

“I'd give this place more like a 3.7 or something, but I just rounded it up. Boba and drinks I'd say is about average, nothing too special. The decor is pretty nice and I like the atmosphere. As for the cranes, they're more on the weaker side and even as someone who plays quite a bit of them, it is more difficult than not to win. They're not stacked up, so you can't knock them in and have to rely entirely on the claws strength, many of which won't even lift it up. There were some other ones like rolling the dice or scoring points, but I didn't try them out so maybe those ones are more generous. Hopefully they adjust the settings abit, but I did have a staff member who offered to move the prizes around. Overall, I'll probably come back at least one more time to try it out, but don't expect to come out with a bunch of prizes. Each game try is about $2-$3“

“This Sunright location has been a solid spot in my boba rotation for years. It's quite a small shop with no seating, just a place to order and go. They have two self ordering kiosks at the back which is great especially when it's busy. However, I'd always prefer to order online anyways to remove any wait time at all.

Interior is pretty clean and staff is pretty quick, parking is plentiful, street parking and parking lot in the back.

My go to drinks here is always the oreo brulee and the white peach milk teas. Both are very refreshing and always delciious regardless of weather. It can get a bit sweat for the oreo brulee but a sugar adjustment does the trick. I like that their cups are one of the more higher quality feel than other shops. Simple design yet modern and classic at the same time. The bottom is sturdy but has a round outer layer, very unique as other shops don't have that style.

Overall, great drinks, extensive menu, and options for all kinds of tea lovers. They have other locations as well but this location is one that's been around for a long time, very consistent for the most part. Keep a look out for events they do on social media and also recommend downloading the Toast app to collect points.“

This place looks super fun. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. They have claw machines, a Photo Booth, a grandma jacket my grandma liked, cool daily deals, and plenty of drinks and snacks. I got their pistachio and mango milk teas, loaded cream carbonara buldak, and Dubai chocolate strawberries to try. While I was waiting for my food me and my grandma had a bunch of fun taking some photos in the Photo Booth. I got the pistachio milk tea with some jiggly soft egg pudding and the milk tea had good sweet, nutty, vanillay, pistachio flaves with lots of actual pistachio bits blended in. Would’ve actually preferred if there weren’t any bits. The mango milk tea was really good and had mango purée, was perfectly sweet, milky, smooth and fruity. I added gooey hot Cheetos corn cheese and flavorful salty soy garlic popcorn chicken nuggets to the buldak to make it loaded and it had perfectly springy noodles, was a bit spicy and oily, and had plenty of salty savory cheesey flaves with sweet pops of corn. The popcorn chicken and hot Cheetos did kinda soggy too tho. The Dubai choco strawberrries MNM. Rich, thick, creamy, sweet, smooth, nutty Nutella and pistachio butter with crispity crunchy kataifi all cut by fresh, tart, sweet strawberries. Perfectly balanced, refreshing and pure deliciousity. Overall this place is a great fun friend hangout spot and is lowkey pretty good.
