“QQ Kitchen is my go-to for vegetarian Taiwanese food in the area, as there are a lot of veggie options that are delicious! Food is reasonably priced with their rice entrees being around $12. I've tried their vegetarian popcorn chicken and red chop rice. Both orders come with a side of cabbage, tofu, vegetarian minced pork (mushrooms), and a tea egg. The woman who takes orders/cooks is great. I walked in to place an order and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes. Note that this place is to-go and cash only!“

“Bafang Dumpling Temple City is a clean and cozy pay-at-the-counter Taiwanese specialty shop offering convenient takeout, delivery and dine-in options. Take advantage of the free and convenient parking spots and the opportunity to check out the cute shops located in the same shopping plaza while you wait for your order here. Bafang Dumpling offers an extensive menu from Taiwanese beef soup, milk tea, savory snacks, house specials and specialty dumplings. I'm a huge dumpling fan. I like how many different cultures feature a tasty treat like a savory present inside of a dough wrapping. Gyoza, potsticker, baraka, samosa, empanada, pelmini, meat pie, ravioli, perogie and many other delicious handmade dumplings help bring families together. I ordered the Bafang signature dumplings pan fried with chili sauce on the side and a couple dozen frozen dumplings to take home. They were great! I tried cooking Bafang signature dumplings at home a few different ways, first by following the helpful instructions. My favorite cooking method was to pair Bafang Taiwanese dumplings with a few international dipping sauces and sidekicks from my local grocery store. Bafang signature dumplings are a great addition to soups as well. Great service, food and flavor. Five Star everything. Taiwanese dumplings fans, I posted a Taiwanese flag emoji alongside a positive poem about tolerance and a slow motion wok toss from a cool ramen joint. I was prompted to delete the post and shadow banned till I deleted it sadly. “Tea Station is one of the few remaining OG Taiwanese-style milk tea chains in the SGV. Their drinks are admittedly pricey by 626 standards (~$8 to $9), but their large size is massive (hovering at least 30 oz), well worth the $1.50 upgrade. And each drink is hand-shaken. Tea Station's boba milk tea brings me back to the milk teas at Chun Shui Tang (春水堂), the progenitor of boba milk tea in Taiwan! A delicate balance of sweetness paired with fragrant black tea notes that's hard to find even in Socal. Tea Station's osmanthus oolong milk tea is also superb! Can't get enough of the fragrance of the dried osmanthus blossoms. I'd skip some of the other less well-known drinks like taro milk tea, which you can find at any other milk tea shop.“
“One of the few boba shops that genuinely knows how to make their teas!! I'd have to say my favorite drink here is the Wintermelon Milk Green tea with boba.The service here is pretty average but the staff is very informative and open to explaining when you want to know a little more about a certain drink. Taste wise, I've never encountered a time when their boba was too hard or bland, it was always the perfect amount of sweetness and had the perfect bounce when you chew. Now here's the tea. They use very high quality tea leaves in their drinks and you can tell right away from the first sip. Although they do use powdered creamer for more milk teas they NEVER DISAPPOINTED. 10/10 ‼“
“Parking/Wait: There is a very small lot with ~5 spots. Never had problems parking there, and there is also a bunch of street parking.Food/Drinks: Their Earl Grey Milk Tea makes my knees weak. Never tried their food, but they have your typical Taiwanese snacks and more. Boba quality is also pretty good (very qq), but be careful if you want some when they are ~1 hr from closing (always out of boba by then). Ambiance/Service: Nice little shop with a bunch of seating. You can definitely study here since there is free wifi. Service is always fast, and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my drink. Only one or two people working there at a time, so maybe your mileage will vary.Sustainability: Plastic everything but that's pretty standard. Summary: When I'm back home, this is one of the Boba places that I have to go to. I'm a sucker for Earl Grey, and they do it gooood here.“
