“Haven't visited here after the change in ownership so decided to give it a try. Came on a weekday mid-morning so it was quiet and empty inside. The owner was friendly and greeted us. We got the mango yogurt ($5.49) and large jasmine green milk tea ($4.45). Both were half sugar. Large size is 24 oz and regular is 12 oz. Their drinks are much cheaper compared to other boba spots that charge from $5+ just for a milk tea. Both drinks tasted good. The mango yogurt tasted more like mango- couldn't really taste the yogurt component. The jasmine milk tea was decent too, not sure what the thick foam in top was. Maybe the creamer? But both drinks still were drinkable and I would come back to support this small business when I crave a cheap drink.“
“One of the few boba shops that genuinely knows how to make their teas!! I'd have to say my favorite drink here is the Wintermelon Milk Green tea with boba. The service here is pretty average but the staff is very informative and open to explaining when you want to know a little more about a certain drink. Taste wise, I've never encountered a time when their boba was too hard or bland, it was always the perfect amount of sweetness and had the perfect bounce when you chew. Now here's the tea. They use very high quality tea leaves in their drinks and you can tell right away from the first sip. Although they do use powdered creamer for more milk teas they NEVER DISAPPOINTED. 10/10 ‼“
“Tea Station is one of the few remaining OG Taiwanese-style milk tea chains in the SGV. Their drinks are admittedly pricey by 626 standards (~$8 to $9), but their large size is massive (hovering at least 30 oz), well worth the $1.50 upgrade. And each drink is hand-shaken. Tea Station's boba milk tea brings me back to the milk teas at Chun Shui Tang (春水堂), the progenitor of boba milk tea in Taiwan! A delicate balance of sweetness paired with fragrant black tea notes that's hard to find even in Socal. Tea Station's osmanthus oolong milk tea is also superb! Can't get enough of the fragrance of the dried osmanthus blossoms. I'd skip some of the other less well-known drinks like taro milk tea, which you can find at any other milk tea shop.“
“The owners are very friendly and atmosphere is relaxed. I ordered the Mamey Shake and Chicken (Spinach Tortilla) wrap?✨✨My man ordered the Chicken Ciabatta Chipotle Sandwich and for a drink, it had Mango, Orange, and Carrot?✨✨Satisfying Portions.Perfect for a day out and loads of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner✨10/10 recommend to everyone that enjoys fresh, delicious meals and drinks reasonably priced.Parking: Parking is in back of restaurant✨“
“I enjoy the flavors and toppings. More healthier selections to choose from. The staff and owners (Pablo and his wife) are awesome, informative and accommodating!! And as long as they are open for business, I will only be getting my frozen yogurt from them.“
“Really good acai bowls, lots of bases and toppings to choose from. The mango base is my personal favorite and with half acai. Good for being a place with pre made bases as usually i like to go to places where they freshly blend the bases. Very tasty and load up the toppings.“
“From the moment I stepped into C & R Fresh Foods, I was greeted with a warmth and hospitality that is all too rare these days. The owner, an embodiment of kindness and attentiveness, went above and beyond to ensure my visit was nothing short of exceptional. It's not just the food that makes C & R Fresh Foods stand out--it's the heart and soul poured into every aspect of the customer experience. The sandwiches, oh the sandwiches! They were a revelation in freshness and flavor, crafted with ingredients that speak of quality and care. Each bite was a testament to the dedication behind the counter, making it clear that this isn't just food; it's a passion. And then there were the smoothies--simply put, some of the best I've ever had. Each sip was a burst of fresh, vibrant flavors, perfectly blended to create a symphony in a cup. It's evident that C & R Fresh Foods doesn't compromise when it comes to quality, and these smoothies are a delicious testament to that commitment. In a world where the personal touch is often lost, C & R Fresh Foods stands as a shining example of what happens when excellence meets empathy. The owner Marco is not just running a business; they're nurturing a community, one satisfied customer at a time. If you're looking for a place that combines the best of taste, quality, and human kindness, look no further. C & R Fresh Foods is a gem that deserves every accolade and then some.“
“100% Plant Based! It is AMAZING to have a vegan place like this in the area. Quality food, SUPER Fresh! The owner of the place is super nice and the vibes inside are great! 10/10 and the prices are also super fair with large portions. If you have not been here you need to check it out! Ive been a few times now and am always impressed!“
“Hidden gem of El Monte for healthy eating. Just steps from the courthouse and Open Sundays ? stopped by for our favorite Acai bowls and charcoal lemonade. Never a wait when you can call in your order. Was pleasantly surprised to see the expansion of the eating area with more tables for dining in. We've been patrons for over 2 years and we have always been greated with great service and quality food. When the option for healthy eating is available in our community, we chose Andreas ?We support small woman owned businesses with positive impacts in a healthy way of life.“
“Loved the variety of ingredients that they had, Great location with lots of parking. The staff was very helpful and very willing to help us out and try our samples. Jedah the staff was very friendly and Norman was very informative about every single ingredient. I would recommend this place for first timers and people who get a lot of açaí! There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Would recommend this place!“
“Was craving fruit tea after the 626 market and found this spot on the map!I tried the house fruit tea with lychee jelly and no sugar and my boyfriend got a mango latte with boba and 50% sweetness. Both were honestly so good!! The mango latte was creamy and sweet and my house fruit was such a nice blend of fruit - it had pieces of strawberries, passion fruit seeds, and slices of lemon and lime. It's cute and cozy in here and there are some good restaurants in this shopping center. And the staff are friendly and helpful right when you walk in. They also do a weekly raffle for boba plushies!“
“If the review was solely about drinks, then I'd give it a 5 star. The ambiance is nice and relaxing. However, the parking lot in the back gets pretty dark after 5:30. However, please fix your kiosk system. There was a service fee on top of 10.25% tax for ordering the drinks yourself on the machine. Do better. Don't treat your loyal customers like garbage. It was extremely disappointing when I had to get told by your staff that they won't be able to refund the drinks.I was never taxed when I order directly from your cashier... and I had to pay a service fee for ordering myself. I was extremely disappointed.“
“Loooved this acai bowl place! They're located in Blossom Market Hall.We got a 24 oz bowl for $16 and it was enough to share between two. I chose an acai / coconut base, with chia pudding. Both the acai and coconut layers were SO refreshing! We topped it off with every fruit selection they had, and overall it was a nice balance :)Selections for toppings are pretty standard, though other acai spots I've been to have definitely had a broader selection. They have options between peanut or almond butter, granolas, and other plant seeds.Service was quick and prompt, and there's lots of seating in the market itself!“
“Best location in town for acai bowls and smoothies!!! Highly recommend Veranos!! I can’t get enough of the #25 with a scoop of vanilla protein !Dietary restrictions: Very macro friendlyParking: Can get tough with parking just because it’s shared with other businesses. The times I’ve gone I was able to find parking with no problem at all“
“The most delicious breakfast sandwich I've ever had. So many vegan/veggie options for my friend too. Next time I'ma have the yogurt granola and the chocolate Abuelita. The vibes are perfect too - beautiful art, cozy indoors, fresh plants “
“Woke up with a tickle in my throat and knew I needed fresh juices n ginger asap. I called to ask if they make ginger shots and THEY DO! Just not listed on the website. I forget the prices he quoted me. I think 16oz ginger shot was $20? I got 8oz. The 8oz is easily about 3 shots so I'm a happy camper. Also got a large immune system booster. I'm not a beet juice person *at all* but this wasn't bad. Tasted the OJ and carrots more than beets. So glad I found this place. I've tried misc ginger shots in the area and all have been pretty subpar. I KNEW there had to be a place out here that served amazing fresh ginger shots and I didn't have to drive all the way to Silverlake. Will be back!!“
“Tried this spot in early Dec and loved the prices, indoor and outdoor seating options, and the generous and friendly staff. Glad I finally tried it! I got the pesto sandwich (most popular item) with the side of fruit and for ~$10 it was a good deal.“
“Well I know what's going to be my new acai bowl place!! I finally tried one of their bowls today and it was absolutely delicious! It tasted super fresh and use cappahaden Coconut they used was like kind of chewy which was so yummy on the top. The service is a little bit slower than your usual asahi bowl place but I didn't mind too much because the food was fantastic! I will definitely be back! And even better it's only like 7 minutes away from my house!“
“I tried the My Sweet Heart and Jasmine Blossom. I love that they crafted speciality drinks that alrdy include toppings. The my sweet heart is milk tea mixed with rose. They actually use rose petals and probably a bit syrup because the drink has a hint of pink coloring. The boba is the perfect chewy texture and the sweetness level was good too. The jasmine blossom was refreshing and I love the mix of fruitiness with the aloe Vera. They have a self order machine but there is someone that can also take your order if you want to pay cash. I came mid day on a Friday and they only had one person on staff so if you don't use the self order, it can be a bit of a wait. The tea shop is cute and has a lot of seatings. The aesthetics of the shop is very cute and ig worthy haha.“
“Shout out to the guy who delivered my drink to my car! It was super packed so I decided to wait for my drink in the car. When my drink was finished one of the workers came to my car to hand me my drink. I thought that was super nice and he went above and beyond. Also the cups are super adorable!“
“The protein coffee are amazing. One of the employees gave us a sample of one of their protein drinks. Which I believe was the peanut butter banana. It was delicious. Uptown Vibe is not just a cafe; it's a destination for those seeking a healthier alternative to their coffee and snack cravings. I highly recommend giving it a try - you won't be disappointed!“
“Never knew a shop like this existed let alone knew what Coconut jelly King was all about. We were visiting the HMART market in Arcadia and noticed the Coconut Jelly King at the Food Court. Judging by their menu they mainly specialize in drinks and jelly made with coconut but they had other items on their menu. We got the Pineapple Coconut Jelly and the double Coconut jelly to try out. They were packed in a dessert jars and refrigerated. To be clear Asian jelly is made with Agar or Arrowroot. It is not Jello which is made with gelatin derived from animals. The Pineapple Coconut Jelly had shredded Pineapple base topped with Coconut Jelly made with slightly sweetened Coconut milk. I like Pineapple I thought it would be my favorite. I liked the Double Coconut Jelly a lot more. The base was a jelly made with Coconut Water and topped with Coconut jelly made with sweetened Coconut Milk. The dessert itself was light and refreshing. The flavors were subtle but it was delicious and turned out to be my favorite. iCYMI, Coconut milk is made from steeping dried Coconut flesh and is usually sweetened for drinks or desserts. It also is used for used as a base for Curries. I just found that they have a location in Lad Vegas so I'll be stopping by soon and try some different flavors. Sorry Yelpers. I totally forgot to take pics.“
“My bff brought home 2 vegan pan dulces from here, they were tasty , but not mind blowing. Props & blessings to Them though for making vegan items . I had a pumpkin empanada & concha type pan: too dry imo. I'll recommend cuz they're vegan, but I won't purchase or travel here. Can't opine on the price or parking or staff as I didn't visit the site.“
“If you like protein shakes and açaí bowls then this is the best place. Their açaí bowls taste fresh and they have a great selection of toppings. The protein shakes are great and my favorite one is the green hulk. Would highly recommend.“
“This place is a hidden gem. I went in for an Açaí bowl for lunch and it was one of the best. The fruit toppings were so fresh and the Açaí base was delicious. The owner Eugene was there and he asked me what I thought about the food. I really liked the Rio bowl.I told my daughters about the organic Juice dude because they like to get snacks in town after school on Fridays. I am so happy knowing that the kids will eat or drink items that are healthy and refreshing. The kids raved about the Açaí bowl and that the store gave them a 15% percent discount because they are students. Thank you for the great food and service.“
“bf and I went looking for something healthy after our hike and discovered this gem! The service is great and friendly, and the food is excellent! I had the strawberry salad and he had the chicken chipotle sandwich with side salad. The food was made well, all the fruit and greens were fresh and delicious! We were both very happy.“
“Vita Cane is a great entry point for sugarcane juice. The sponsored result on Yelp piqued my interest, so we came by to take advantage of the Buy 3 Get 1 Free Promotion. My cousin and I ordered the Vita Cane 50/50, Aloha Sunrise, Durian 50/50, and the free Coco Jack. My favorites were the Vita Cane 50/50 and Durian 50/50, followed by the Aloha Sunrise, then Coco Jack. The Vita Cane 50/50 was very refreshing. The Durian 50/50 had a great durian flavor and was not too sweet. The pineapple flavor was too subtle in Aloha Sunrise. Coco Jack was too sweet and not memorable. In all of the drinks, the sugarcane was more subtle. While I liked the drinks, I prefer CocoCane in Garden Grove because the sugarcane flavor is stronger and better balanced in all of their drinks. That being said, I would come back if I'm in the area because they have several locations and it is convenient. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a free topping :)“
“Incredible from the moment you enter you feel the good vibes of this place, the drinks and food are delicious, the presentation is delicious, what your eyes see is what your palate delights, the treatment is very friendly and they tell you how many calories what you eat contains , the clients make you feel at home, I have been coming to the dentist across the street for a long time and I regret not having entered this wonderful place sooner. very remembered, you can't come to West Covina and not visit this place“
“Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“
“the staff inside were soo nice and the food is simple and healthy but delicious! got the pesto sandwich with chicken and a caesar salad and it was great. was also out really quick. oh, and i got their blueberry lemonade and it was actually so good. 10/10“
“This place is super delicious with their bagels and bagel creations. Stock N Lox, The Exchange sandwich and any of their bagels with any of their cream cheeses...more specifically, chives and onions, is my go-to.Parking: Plenty of street parking around the area“
“What a great donut spot. Staff is friendly and always great you with a smile. The ambiance is your classic donut shop with a glass case to view your doughnuts as you make your selections. They have refrigerates that store your cold drinks like juice, chocolate milk, milk etc. of course they serve coffee for those of you who want one with your donut and they also sell breakfast sandwiches. We usually go for the donuts. Donuts are great. We've had everything from glazed, maple bars, chocolate bars, cake donuts and of course the traditional donut holes. Every donut is very good. You can't go wrong with any one you pick. Looking for a donut and cup of coffee, give this place a try. Oh! You can also buy lotto tickets as well. Stay hungry my friends.“
“Ordered twice from here and each time the food was excellent. Everything was packaged perfectly and the appetizers stayed crisp even when we order take out. We've ordered the wings, egg rolls, pad woon sen, red and yellow curry and steak salad. Couldn't complain about anything at all! Happy to have found this one as the Thai spot in South pas just hasn't been hitten lately. Recommend!“
“I love this place so much!! The prices are reasonable. You can make your pho a large for a small price. The fried shrimp egg rolls came out hot and fresh.FYI - they put the rare steak into the pho rather than on the side. If you want your meat rare then ask for it on the side.“
“This bagel shop concept is so cool! I'm from NY and love a good bagel spot so this place felt like the perfect local gem. I met the owner Ryan he was super friendly! The speciality drinks sounded so yummy and seem like they're constantly trying new flavors. I want to come back for their ube latte and cereal latte! I noticed they had a pizza bagel and saw they have mini pizza boxes to put those specific menu item in-so clever! I love how the menu looks like a stock exchange board. Definitely worth stopping by and trying anything on their menu. So many options, so many ways to customize it. And there's lots of street parking up front or around the corner.“
“SunRight - ArcadiaI made a mistake with my order, but it was corrected, and I even received an additional drink! I offered to pay for my mistake, but they insisted on covering it due to company policies. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, thank you, Karman, for your professional approached and outstanding customer service!“
“I've been coming here for years. I have an aunt that lives nearby so I always treat myself to a lil biónico whenever I'm on this side of town or a large green juice with ginger when I'm in my healthy era lol. Staff is very friendly and can make anything for you as long as they have it. They also have a bunch of snacks you can only get in Mexico. So nice to see a local Mexican spot thriving. Check them out“
“I'm a regular here along with my significant other. We enjoy the consistency of the drinks and the very friendly staff. We're always nicely greeted and the drinks are good. If I ever don't like something they just make it again no hesitation, but that's only happened maybe 2 times out of the many many other times we go here. My favorite drinks are the lychee milk tea and the strawberry milk tea.“
“I love coming here for my açaí bowl fix! The service is always very quick and the staff is friendly. I haven't tried very much açaí shops but this place is by far my favorite. I got the build your own and didn't want toppings so the worker offered more fruits. The places I've been to the past have never offered me more fruits to substitute the lack of toppings, so I really appreciated that.“
“definitely need to come back to try the rest of their options (:the original pancakes have a light sweet taste (like a hush puppy), they also have an red bean pancake option but i’m a passionate red bean hater so i passed on that the strawberry milk frappe was a little bit on the tangier side as well as more on the watery side. i had expected it to be thicker consistency since frappes tend to be thicker liquid but i did get it with almond milk rather than the regular milk ? other than that, it was still consumablegreen grape snow top tasted like world peace ? ? ?it tasted like natural grape and not the artificial kind that you taste in juice or soda and was surprisingly not sour?i did prefer this one over the strawberry milk frappe ?it is a bit of a tiny shop so i don’t recommend going inside during packed hours (weekends) if you’re claustrophobic or just hate human interactionthe cashier was very sweet !my total was around $22Dietary restrictions: have different milk options for those who are weak like me and will explode if having lactose milk ?Parking: on fair oaks there’s a parking garage garage where the first two hours is only $1 (:“
“I think the best thing about this place is the design and aesthetic. If you look at the photos, you can tell that it's definitely pleasing to the eye. As for the coconut jelly that they serve, it's not bad, but it could use some improvement. My friend ordered the STRAWBERRY COCONUT JELLY. They use fresh strawberries, but they're the waxy, kind of tasteless ones that the big chain supermarkets carry. I think the owner should consider regularly getting seasonal fruit from one of the nearby farmer's markets. I ordered the WHOLE COCONUT JELLY mainly because of the look of it. Of course, inherently, coconut is a little bland, so I'm curious to find out if the other options - like pineapple, mango or durian - succeed in giving the satisfaction of sweetness and flavor. One other small criticism of this place is that - at least by the time that I went - they hadn't put a trashcan in the dining area. Instead, I had to hand my trash to the person behind the counter. I suggested that they put a trash can somewhere, but they seemed disinterested. So, if you have a tissue or some chewing gum that you want to discard, I guess you have to either get rid of it in the restroom or hand it to staff.“
“Had to update. Can't even update the STAR reviews if I could I would update them 2 stars I've been coming here since they opened, and at least 2x a week, love their food n service but the prices in last year have gone up by almost $5 each item. That's why I cut back n only go once a month if anything or less. I use to spend at least $60 a week there. Now prices have tripled and just not it anymore. Shouldn't take advantage of price hikes that everyone else is doing like rents, gas, food, etc. Smh“
“Boba St is walking distance from our home and I'm so excited that the drinks are tasty! We ordered a thai tea and mango swirl with popping boba. Service was great and welcoming. Great music. Loved the decors and cleanliness. We will come back to try the other drinks!“
“I love this place. Great customer service, atmosphere and selection of drinks when it comes to smoothies, boba, etc. Food selection is limited but not bad. It's great for either dining in or take out. I love coming from time to time and will continue coming back.“
“Fantastic little shop for some snacks and a power booster with some mighty drinks. A great location within union station. Gab a drink on the way to work or something to finish off a long days work. The staff are friendly and well catered to the drink you want at that moment. Price is worth the treat.“
“Had a day off so my BF and I looked up brunch spots and found this gem. It was so good and he said he would come back too. We ordered the pupusa's with scrambled eggs and I ordered a caramel iced coffee and he got some cucumber juice. We definitely suggest this place and we will definitely be returning.“
“I loveee this tea place! It is tea forward, and has so many options. I try something new each time I am here. The toppings have great texture. My favorite combo so far is the golden phoenix oolong with oat milk, osthmanthus jelly, and lavender cream foam. It has been on my list since last year and so happy I finally was able to try it this year, so much that I've been 3 times and it is only March , LOL. Parking is covered lot, so yay it's easy. If you love tea sweets, come give them a try, I know I'll be back!“
“Excellent service The Man behind The wheel a! badass gentleman! !and didn't warn me about? what extra hot meant it was super tasty super good and well worth the price. HOT HOT HOT! MOST PLACES, T.W. SEE! STUFF IS HOT ARE NOT HOT I'M SWEATING RIGHT NOW I'M SWEATING THAT'S WHAT I ASKED ABOUT AT THE THAI RESTAURANT THAT I NEED TO GO TO ALL THE TIME IS AM I GOING TO SWEAT? SHOULD I GO OR STAY!!!. FINALLY WE'RE GETTING SOME GOOD FOODS IN BALDWIN PARK I DON'T NEED A TACO$ ALL THE TIME??? BUT THE BEST MENUDO IS AT RAMONA LIQUOR STORE... tell them the Gringo sent you....“
“Excellent donuts here! Just stopped by on a whim and we were very impressed! I had a chocolate twist and my husband got the glazed twist. Both were so excellent that we wouldn't share with each other because we couldn't bear not finishing what we started.... Both donuts were warm and extremely fresh!! The chocolate icing was perfect; not overpowering but very complimentary to the donut that was so flavorful, I could have eaten it plain and still enjoyed it just as much! This place is a gem and we will definitely be back!“
“I stopped by randomly at night, and it was empty. The decor was nice and vibrant. With lots of anime stuff, which is awesome to me as an Otaku. I ordered the mango passion fruit lemonade. It was made quickly and to perfection. The level of sweetness to tartness was spot on. The lady asked me to taste it before I left to ensure I liked my drink. I told her it was perfect. This particular location has had many tea owners inhabit it, but hopefully, this place is around for a long while. I wanna try lots of other delicious drinks!“
