This coffee shop is excellent! If you’re visiting LA by RV, car, or plane, give Kafana a visit. It's located in the perfect spot in quiet little South Pasadena, right above LA and before Pasadena. The shop is right next to a great woodland area called the Arroyo Seco Parkway, so you can take a nice nature hike.

It's also located inside a gym, so you can work, work out, and hang out all at the same time! Both the staff and the customers are very nice, and the vibe is excellent. You can hang out and get tons of work done in the nice, laid-back atmosphere. The decor is spot-on with nice brick and wood elements, and character furniture pieces make you feel right at home. You might even forget you aren't at home!

Open late until 10 p.m., you can relax and enjoy the great window views. With an assortment of workspaces and tables, you can find just the right spot to get inspired. Check it out! Highly recommended by the Urban Nomads team.“

I love the peanut butter banana smoothie, truly one of the best ones I’ve had from any smoothie shop, it’s never too thick, and has a nice peanut butter taste and doesn’t taste artificial, that’s how I know they use fresh ingredients. “We went to the Newport Beach location a couple of weeks ago. This was my first time ordering an acai bowl. The staff was very helpful and patient when I was building my bowl. Overall, from the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff was extremely friendly and nice.“

“I stopped by Yin Yang Tea today for a Spam Wrap, and as always, it was delicious! Their teas are amazing, and the boba is always fresh—hands down some of the best around.

I also want to give a special shoutout to the owner. I see her almost every morning with her two little babies, and I truly admire her dedication and work ethic. Running a business is challenging on its own, and doing it while caring for two young children is incredible. She always greets customers with kindness and keeps the quality of her drinks and food consistent.

Their acai bowls are some of the best in Glendale, the matcha is amazing, and the shrimp tacos are so flavorful and delicious. I love that everything tastes indulgent while still being healthy, fresh, and made with high-quality ingredients.
The customer service is also exceptional! Everyone is always so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. If you’re looking for healthy food in Glendale, fresh acai bowls, great matcha, or a healthy lunch spot, I seriously cannot recommend Acai Grill Cafe enough. “Healthy healthy... HEALTHY! If this fatty can indulge here, so can you. This is probably the healthiest food and drink shop in a 20 mile radius. The fresh fruit smoothies are amazing and sandwiches to die for. I'm always stuck with... Should I get Chinese? May be a burger? Tacos sound good too... But when this spot comes on my radar, it ends up in top of my list.

Great thing is that it's super affordable too. Will be back. Gracias!
