“If you are looking for an authentic, kosher, Jewish bakery, it does not get any better than Schwartz Bakery. I always thought that Portos bakery was number 1, well that spot is now taken by Schwartz Bakery. Their blintzes with cheese are amazing. I was shocked to know that the cheese is actually dairy free (parve), but it has a full taste of actual cheese, not an easy task if you ever bought dairy-free products. The assortment is great as well, you can find anything from non sweet potato knishes to savory little chocolate rolls and poppy seed roulettes. The little challas are very delicious too. I honestly can say that out of dozens of items that I had tried there, I have not found one that was not tasty.“

“Nice vibes, convenient location with easy parking, beautiful decor. Service was lacking, but understand there is a labor shortage right now, perhaps that's to blame here. Bodega sando was perfection! Pastries were alright...most looked better than they tasted. I'd say they were good but not great.“

“Everything was amazing, the tea was heavenly. I just wish I knew what kind of tea they use. I fell in love with the toast, and I was so surprised that I couldn’t get it to go — I wanted to take three more with me 😭 Can someone explain why that is?“

“Can’t wait to come back for a positive review after my first be bright pour-over as I think I had the best bean in North America and haven’t had a good quality of Geisha for long time.
I dropped by for a cold brew and grabbed a bag of “unique & surprising” to go and the barista shared a small cup of its cold brew for me to taste. I am glad i have tried because it was really surprised by its freshness and flavor and almost wanted to have another large cup of coffee if it’s not my first drink at that day of arrival after a 5 hr flight without a full meal😿
I followed the brew guide on the website but have cut half of the size and still get the same profile as I have had for cold brew.
I will definitely come back for other coffee drinks next time🙌
Nice staff with the chill atmosphere and a kids area provided which is rarely seen“

“Open Market catered a wedding reception I was coordinating in October, and they were wonderful. Their restaurant is one of the bride's favorites, and they were great. The food is delicious, and I'm working on getting my husband over there soon. They couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible during the planning, and they were straight pros at the reception. As a planner, I love caterers that are easy to work with and easy for my couple's to work with, and it was a great experience for everyone.

“Extremely clean, well presented, and delicious homemade Oaxacan fare. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Great spread of juices/coffees/healthy beverage options as well. Feels family run. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable, and they are happy to tweak dishes at your request. Small place so best for groups of 4 or less. Probably seats 30 people total, with two outdoor tables (2 and 4-top)“

“I absolutely love this What A Peach location in Studio City! Their smoothies are always fresh and have some much flavor. Especiallyyyyy the “Peaches N Cream” was downright heavenly. Staff are always smiling, friendly, and super attentive — they remembered my usual order on my third visit, which really made me feel welcome. I’ll be back every weekend for my smoothie fix 🍑✨“

“We randomly ended up to this restaurant: small, but pleasant, the type of place where you can talk with your friends. Party of three, we had the fish carpaccio, the octopus, and the burger (gourmet burger!). Everything was prepared to perfection. They will definitely see us again.“

“We made a fun “tea party”
Play date here and they were very aware of their gluten free options. My Celiac is beyond sensitive where as my daughters is not as bad. It was nice to have them be aware of things. I got a salad, she had a GF cupcake with her friend. Parking was ok, lots of seating indoor and outdoor, pretty space.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“They are a multi-roaster-cafe and carried at least two different local California roasters, Dune Coffee Roasters and Be Bright Coffee Roasters.
Since it was my first time visiting, I decided to go with a drink from their specialty menu. Since they were out of their espresso-esque called the Rising Flower Tonic ($7, comes with espresso, orange juice, osmanthus flower simple syrup, & tonic water) I went with a different orange-infused option.
Georgia On My Mind ($7) is made individually with espresso, oat milk, vanilla syrup, orange zest, then shaken in a cocktail shaker, and topped with a dehydrated orange slice. On the subject of the Georgia On My Mind drink having orange zest when named after the song: “Weird, it should’ve been peach. Georgia is the peach state.” - Joshua
Georgia On My Mind was initially a punch of very sweet, so much so that next time I thought I might ask for less syrup, but it very quickly grew on me and I loved it. The orange zest was the perfect amount of orange to be noticeable without overpowering, and I appreciate that they default to oat milk for this one because it was the perfect creaminess.
I cannot wait to go back and try another signature drink!! Even though it’s called Eyes Peeled, I did not spiiill.
We were easily able to find parking at a meter out front, and although there was a bit of a line when we arrived, but luckily it moved pretty quickly and the barista and cashier were very efficient with making drinks. They had the menu posted on the wall outside the door so you could start thinking of your order while waiting in line, and they had a larger menu once you get to the register.“

“THIS PLACE RULES. A secluded and tucked café with coffee and food in Hollywood. It’s on a closed lot, but there are signs pointing to the parking lot to find the café. You do not have to work here to come to Dukes. I usually come here when I get my car wash or get my car worked on while I wait. They have reach in cooler for RTD drinks, super dank, massive burgers, but I always opt for their sandwiches because they’re on point. Everyone that works here is super cool, down to earth and professional. If you want hot sauce, they’ll let you select from a secret arsenal. Love this place.“

“This isn't a coffee shop. It's a communal space. The coffee is basically free if you think of your donation as more of a rental fee to be in this lovely communal space and have access to all that it offers. This place is ideal for making plans with business partners, writing scripts with friends, or just getting together for some time away from screens and computers. This place is tailored toward bringing diverse people together into one place to sharing ideas and stories with each other. As for the coffee and baristas both are fantastic. Cappuccino rocked me off my behind all day cuz I'm used to watered down crappuccinos from Starbucks. I love this place. This is where I bring friends that love good coffee and a peaceful conversation.“
“So much more than a bookstore with a coffee shop. It's a perfect cafe to meet up, get a unique book, do a work session, or catch one of the many events - it's a place with people that make you feel part of the community. It's a very unique spot where everyone feels invited and welcome.“

“This is a nice family-owned type place serving primarily Mexican and Mexican-inspired dishes. We went for breakfast and had omelettes - very tasty. The ambience is clean, quiet, and friendly. Prices are in line with the area (this is Hollywood after all) but trending to the more affordable end of the scale. There is a very nice outdoor seating area and a very small parking lot. There is more parking in the nearby area but you'll have to take a short walk. The service was fast, accurate, and attentive. Our overall experience was excellent and we've already decided to come back next time we're in this area.“

“I recently visited Gong Gan and had such a great experience. The café is super cute with aesthetic decor — definitely a spot that feels both cozy and Instagram-worthy.
We tried a variety of drinks, desserts, and food, and everything looked as good as it tasted.
One of my favorites was the meringue affogato — crispy meringue topped with gelato and espresso poured over. It was delicious and really fun to eat. The black sesame latte was rich, creamy, and nutty, while the matcha yuzu tonic was refreshing with a light citrus twist. I also loved the strawberry matcha — fruity and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The corn cream coffee was surprisingly unique — sweet, creamy, and slightly savory.
For desserts, the Injermi croffle is a must-try — crispy outside, soft inside, with soybean cream and roasted soy powder. The strawberry French toast was also amazing, loaded with toppings and very indulgent. The egg tart was simple but satisfying.
For savory options, the GG burger was juicy and flavorful with bulgogi sauce on a croissant bun, and the mushroom cream baguette sandwich was creamy, cheesy, and comforting.
Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for creative drinks, good desserts, and a cozy café vibe. Would definitely come back!“

“My wife found this great hole in the wall on our way back from Hollywood this morning. You can be pretty sure you're getting good coffee when there's an Aussie at the bar, but this fellow pulls great shots. Do yourself a favor and try this place out before some influencer discovers it and you need to wait in line to get some of this great brew. I imagine street parking can get dodgy in this neighborhood, but there's a public parking lots just a few steps away.“

“The people at the Kawada Hotel recommended this wonderful diner. I walked in and fell in love with the place. “Did you know the LGBT Center has a cafe? Liberation Coffee House is all about community. The walls are lined with black-and-white vintage photography from past activism, and every dollar you spend goes straight into life-saving programs for the LGBT community. I know I sound like their marketing manager, but I’m so happy to have a queer space that isn't a bar. The overnight oats taste like a coconut rainbow in your mouth and the coffee is great too!“

“Great coffee, great pastries, and an easy vibe. Street parking can be a little tricky depending on the time of day, but it’s worth it once you’re inside. There’s outdoor seating if you want some fresh air, and it’s right by the LA River bike path which makes it a perfect stop before or after a ride. Consistently solid spot.“

“The waitlist is insanely long only because their seating service is comically slow — we saw so many empty tables despite a 90 minute wait because they have a 10 minute grace period once you’re notified. With a restaurant this small, I feel like anything beyond 5 minutes is overly generous because otherwise you’ll have 20 parties on the waitlist grumbling on why we can’t be seated. Service otherwise was very nice, although they also seemed overwhelmed inside.
That being said, the chicken and waffles were so perfectly savory and sweet, slightly spicy and sour — that makes it worth going. The whipped honey butter was a perfect pairing as well. We ate on the Dine LA menu so we also got a first course of truffle toast, which was a solid toast with fluffy eggs and flavorful ham atop a soft yet crunchy sourdough. The truffle oil is 100% a cheat code to make anything feel more elevated!“
