We had a delicious bacon, egg, & cheese croissant made to order as well as apple fritters with the right amount of crispness and apples AND a bear claw that ended up being stuffed with cinnamon apples. Nice people. Also locals sitting & eating when I arrived. A line formed a few times while there which showed that others were just as excited about this spot, but all quickly received their food & coffee.“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

An interesting menu, I ordered a goncho burger with fries - the portion wasnt big but the taste was there - homemade potato went well with their inhouse sauce and the burger had a good flavor of a sweet caramelized onions and melted cheddar. Cravings cafe is a cozy lil cafe in West Hollywood area at the lobby of Avaco Center building. They’re known for breakfast, paninis and Mediterranean kabob plates. Similarly, they serve coffee and tea drinks.

I came to grab some breakfast sandwich and coffee drink. Food was delightful as well as the coffee. Staff were nice and competent. Prices are fair. Atmosphere was inviting. Their indoor and outdoor seats were spacious.

Overall, it’s a nice lil cafe for coffee and breakfast. I recommend it.“

“At first I liked this place because of the coffee they make (and be aware this saying someone who loves coffee, was a barista, and tried the drink in more than 10 different countries around the globe), it's genuinely good, smooth texture of espresso blended perfectly with milk.
But now I love this place because of the people who work there as well.
So the story is this: I was going for my coffee closer to their close time, about 4:30 pm.
Unfortunately as I found out when I get there they were closing earlier today, from what I heard someone had a Birthday party.
And I thought I would end up without the coffee today, but the owner of the place was there as well.
We had a small talk with three of us and they gave me a free latte.
I was going for the coffee, but was given such a warm gesture to push through another , gray and cold day of November.

I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed.
