I parked in the adjacent parking garage for free. Enter through the lobby doors at the back. The parking lot is for employees. You can't miss you are in the right place, the aromas are amazing! “Travelled from Nova Scotia, Canada recently for an event. Love hunting down good coffee and good vibes. Rented a car for the day and stumbled on Awkward Coffee. Based on the name alone I knew we had to go. Very friendly staff, great selection of specialty drinks and sweet treats. Got to sample their new strawberry cold foam while we were waiting as well 🫣 I would make the trip from Nova Scotia again just to go back and visit this shop. “I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“This Bakery is Beyond amazing 👏 😍 They make fresh fruit smoothies :^) they have multiple milk options 😋 They offer fresh juices that are healthy, yet delicious. They have delicious sandwiches. Their homemade cookies are amazing 👏 They go above and beyond to make you feel at home 🏡 they have AC and it's comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and provides a sound blocking experience. “I really love SunLife Organics shakes and usually get mine at the Thousand Oaks location, with occasional visits to the Calabasas and Malibu Point Dume locations. My main concern is the customer service, which can be very inconsistent.
Sometimes the experience is great, but other times the service feels so unfriendly that I regret leaving a tip. I’m not sure why the level of customer service varies so much between visits. It would be wonderful if an establishment with a lotus as its symbol could reflect that same beauty and serenity in the attitude of its staff. I like to invest my money where I feel appreciated.“

Enjoyed the spinach and cheese bourka, one large one with everything bagel sprinkled on top with a tomato and a touch of greens to decorate the plate, and shared the vegetable gratin with mozzarella and tomato sauce and squash (amazingly not mushy) and eggplant.
