I have the smoked salmon pastrami ruben on rye and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was special, uniquely lit, and visually intriguing. The service was attentive, conversational and welcoming. In sum, it was worth my hour + long drive.
Somewhat bland space even with its renovation, but pleasant wait staff and interesting menu. Fried dill pickles! Enjoyed the spinach and cheese bourka, one large one with everything bagel sprinkled on top with a tomato and a touch of greens to decorate the plate, and shared the vegetable gratin with mozzarella and tomato sauce and squash (amazingly not mushy) and eggplant. Attractive and tasty.

Zeidler's Cafe offers a simple menu at reasonable prices, perfect for a visit near the Skirball museum. The staff is attentive, serving bread and butter while you enjoy a glass of Chardonnay. The avocado toast with a side salad is a delicious choice, with fresh veggies and a pleasant ambiance. Whether sitting indoors or outdoors on the patio, the good food and service make for a great dining experience, especially during quieter times. Keep in mind that the cafe is kosher, so expect separate protein and dairy options on the menu.
