Chitchat Coffee + Matcha is a cozy, relaxing spot that has become part of many morning routines. The drinks are always fresh, delicious, and made with great attention to detail. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the matcha is one of the best—with the strawberry matcha, rose matcha, and strawberry matcha latte being popular choices. The flat white is silky smooth, and the Spanish latte is excellent. The banana bread latte is just okay, but the kougin Amman is delicious.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a breathtaking interior designed by Kevin Klein Design. The staff are usually friendly and welcoming, though some can be a little rude or dismissive—one barista was helpful and remade a drink instantly. The shop could benefit from ceramics or glassware, as the bar area looked stacked with only paper and plastic cups. Parking can be a bummer, but it’s not terrible. It’s a wonderful place for a quiet morning, catching up with friends, or getting work done, and it’s a go-to matcha spot.
