“This place just feels like a warm hug. The interior is filled with lush plants, mismatched vintage furniture, and a very welcoming atmosphere. I tried their signature lavender honey latte and it wasn't overly sweet, just right. The baristas are super friendly and remember the regulars. It's the perfect spot to curl up with a good book on a rainy afternoon“

“I love this place. The food is excellent. The vibe is wonderful. The only issue is that the lids on the coffee cups do not stay on. If you walk even a few feet it will instantly leak out the side. It happens every time whether it’s 2 cups or one cup. We know this is a fixable problem.“

“THIS PLACE RULES. A secluded and tucked café with coffee and food in Hollywood. It’s on a closed lot, but there are signs pointing to the parking lot to find the café. You do not have to work here to come to Dukes. I usually come here when I get my car wash or get my car worked on while I wait. They have reach in cooler for RTD drinks, super dank, massive burgers, but I always opt for their sandwiches because they’re on point. Everyone that works here is super cool, down to earth and professional. If you want hot sauce, they’ll let you select from a secret arsenal. Love this place.“

I cannot express how thankful I am to know I can count on Float Hollywood! I was stressed about Easter, and I called Joyce, the owner and asked if she can do last minute catering. She was quick to response, attentive and planned my event and prepared an amazing cheese board, Lemonade in a gorgeous crystal dispenser and the most amazing sandwiches! The catering arrived on time, carefully displayed on white ceramic trays/ wood platters. I have hired Float for all my corporate special events

Was on business travels and enjoyed walking 2 blocks over to this place for great espresso.. great service with gentle kindness (we need more of this in this current world)... and a great banana loaf perfectly moist and size and well balanced sweetness. “This was our first restaurant after arriving from the East Coast, and it set the bar high. The food was so good that we came back the very next day!

Everything tasted fresh, and you could really tell the fruits and vegetables were high quality. The meals were flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned. We had breakfast around 11 a.m. and honestly didn’t feel hungry again until about 6 p.m.

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the smoothie, it was a little too milky for my taste. But the lattes were excellent and definitely worth ordering. Overall, a great spot with fresh, delicious food, and I’d absolutely recommend it.“

“Did you know the LGBT Center has a cafe? Liberation Coffee House is all about community. The walls are lined with black-and-white vintage photography from past activism, and every dollar you spend goes straight into life-saving programs for the LGBT community. I know I sound like their marketing manager, but I’m so happy to have a queer space that isn't a bar. The overnight oats taste like a coconut rainbow in your mouth and the coffee is great too!“

It’s small, it’s cozy, and it’s done right. The kind of place you walk into and immediately notice the detail. They really thought it through. It works for everything too… brunch, lunch, dinner. Doesn’t matter when you go, it hits.

I’ve tried most of the menu, and I’m not saying that lightly. Every time I thought “okay this is my favorite,” the next dish somehow topped it. That’s rare.

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices.
