Cool concept as a donation cafe - didn’t feel pressured at all to pick a high vs low number for my drinks. Excellent service with genuine, friendly baristas and great cup of coffee - and loved the Banana Pecan Muffin. Didn’t stay in but the space was a good size to sit in and saw a few larger groups have meet-ups as well.
The coffee at Upside Down was excellent- i had the Cafe Hafookh and it was amazing. It had an exquisite sweet cinnamon finish with each sip. I did order it as a quad shot because i like a more bold coffee flavor- and it was so good!The service was great too- very friendly and hospitable. They actually even gave me my coffee for free the first time i was there- i appreciated that so much i came back and will return again whenever I'm in Westwood.
