“Not sure why this place has lower reviews, I’ve been twice and had great experiences both times. Yes it’s a little pricey but the quality of the food is worth it. I highly recommend the penne with vodka sauce and the chili relleno, I have dreams about both.

“Such a lovely and cozy spot at 1 West Hotel! We didn’t have a reservation and went on a Sunday night, but we were able to get seated easily.

The drinks were great, and we tried the waffle fries, chicken skewers, sweet potato bake, and shrimp fritters. Everything was good!

It’s a great spot to hang out with a group of friends. They have lots of large tables and more of an open-table seating style, which makes it feel very social and relaxed. Definitely a nice place for a casual night out with friends!”

“If you love sushi and robots, Katana is it. Their sushi and robata plates are delicious (my personal favorites are the white lotus roll, fried rice, and grilled avocado). For anyone avoiding alcohol, their mocktails are also very tasty. The vibe is also great, I love the outdoor seating area.”

Suggestion: your food runners should take 15 seconds longer to slow down and clearly state what they are bringing to the table and conclude by asking us if we have any questions or if we need anything else. Some did some most did not, and they generally seemed overly rushed, which is understandable given how busy you were on a Tuesday night”

“Fast and helpful service in a cute vegan cafe with a parking lot and real fresh flowers on the table. The Mac and cheese was very good, but I was most impressed by the shrimp tempura roll! As a lifelong vegetarian, vegan sushi can sometimes freak me out, but this one was incredible! I would have gotten another roll if I wasn’t already so full! Will def come back to try more of the menu.”

Oh, and side note - my favorite parts of the night was when a well lubricated woman walked up to the DJ booth and asked for the check and her husband behind her tried to keep her the DJ wasn't a service booth... He Looked to the sky like Ben Affleck did after he opened and closed the car door for Jennifer Lopez.

“I've been here a handful of times, and it never disappoints! I rented out the private dining room for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the ambiance is absolutely perfect. Not to mention each food plate we’ve gotten there is to die for. It's the kind of place you can't wait to bring your friends to. Every visit has been amazing, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. Without a doubt, it's my favorite restaurant in LA.”

“Been wanting to try this place for a couple years now. Glad we finally did. Excellent food, much better than any Jinya Ramen. We had a bunch of appetizers. Indeed, their Takoyaki was amazing, Howard Yang! 😍 We had 2 seasonal specials, the Spicy Crispy Shrimp Roll and the cold Tan Tan ramen. Both were fantastic, albeit a bit too spicy for me. Service is super friendly. We will definitely be back. Want to try a bunch of other things, including the hot ramens.”

“So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.”

Their evening fare is nothing short of a Song of Ice and Fire, if the fire were the perfectly balanced heat of their taquitos, and the ice, the tempered sweet bite of Ryan’s cocktails. The service, flavors, and vibe of this restaurant put all others to shame. “Somehow I had never tried this place until about a month ago through Uber eats when I was craving an Apple fritter. Have ordered a few times since and think I’ve found my favorite donut/breakfast sandwich place in LA. Everything is always super fresh even if I order at 3 in the afternoon. The fritter is huge and might be the best I’ve ever had. Bagel breakfast sandwiches are perfect as are the other donuts I’ve had. So happy places like this still exist!!!”

“Cute restaurant. We already had a great time having a breakfast downstairs so we went for bruch last Sunday. After an icky start - getting a reservation was problematic- we really had a good time, the food was nice, and the service was immaculate. Sadly, the three of us were seated under a speaker. The music was so loud that we were hardly able to communicate - so for my recent visit we'd give three out of five stars. Both are easy fixes - and if they do, I am happy to give five stars on our next visit.”

“This place is a whole vibe. Purely from a food perspective, the menu here is pretty standard Chinese fare and is above average though not incredible. The dan dan noodles are spice and solid. The walnut prawns were a bit too sweet.

The prices are also on the high side.

But what you're paying for is the setting and nostalgia. I mean, we dined in a converted train car!

“This is an absolute gem of a bar in LA/WeHo! My friend and I stumbled upon it after playing pickleball and I am so happy we did.

LA nightlife is great and all but it is incredibly rare (especially when you're not on the west side) to find a great BAR with great PEOPLE and a truly eclectic and incredibly fun mix of everyone - and this place is it. Mic's isn't trying to be flashy or fancy and that is the genius of it! It reminds me of Cheers because almost immediately, you inevitably get to know everyone who works there and all the regulars.

The staff is the best that I've come across in the city - CB, Cody, Kyle, and everyone else - they are the nicest and the most fun.

Mic's also has an incredible happy hour every single day!

“Everything I ordered at Guac Daddy was so fresh and delicious! The Deluxe Box is perfect when you want a little bit of everything. It comes with two tacos, a quesadilla, a vampiro, a mulita, plus totopos and guac. I also had the hibiscus rose drink and finished with the churros, which were the perfect sweet ending. Great portions, bold flavors, and not a single disappointing bite. I’ll definitely be back!”

“I pass this darling European style cafe daily walking my grand dog and since I burnt chocolate croissants at home this am, decided to stop in for some for myself, my daughter & grandson.

First I was met by a friendly staff member and a blast of cold air- both so refreshing!
The pastries are made daily and they offer quite an assortment! All beautifully displayed. Bought a vegan one for my daughter, chocolate for my 4 yo grandson & lavender meyers lemon frosted one for myself! So delicious!”
