About Surly Goat

Surly Goat is a dive bar in West Hollywood known for its great service and rotating taps with cheap prices. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent service. Customers can bring in their own food since there are no food options available, and nearby restaurants are easily accessible. The bar has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with music playing in the background, creating a lively environment. It features a large selection of craft beers, including local brews, exotic brands, and classic beers, along with wine and a full bar. There are plenty of seating options, a comfy lounge area, outdoor patios, dart boards, arcade games, and often hosts karaoke and DJs. Trivia nights on Mondays are a fun addition, with a great energy that makes the place lively even on weeknights. Parking may be limited, so walking or ride-sharing is recommended. Some experiences with karaoke can be inconsistent, especially with sign-up processes and charges, but overall, it remains a popular spot for adults to meet, relax, and discover new beers.

The place is well known for its large selection of craft beers, with around two dozen rotating taps plus many bottled options. If you enjoy trying different styles—from IPAs...read full review
