“My girlfriends and I had the best meal at Zarape! We easily made a reservation online and they called to confirm 45 mins before. We had the cutest corner booth inside. We took advantage of their awesome happy hour deals and got the nachos (yummy real pepper jack cheese… not fake gooey queso) and the guac. We also got spicy margaritas for $10 each! They were so good. My friend and I split the chicken enchiladas and each got two shrimp tacos which was a great serving for us. The chicken enchilada was a big portion and so good with the green salsa. The shrimp on the tacos was big and tasted fresh :) we will definitely be back! Thank you to Jessica who was such a helpful and sweet server!“

“For casual counter service tacos, this place is great. Consistently great food. Highly recommend The Sampler. And nearly everything is gluten free for those who have celiac etc. Can be a bit overrun late on Fri/Sat, it's in the middle of all the WeHo gay bars.“

“Was in west hollywood when my hunger kicked in. There's a few burger places and coffee shops but I decided on Los Tacos. Yummy and satisfying. The place is cozy and can use a modern revamp but keep the heritage. I ordered the 2 taco carnitas combination plate and a aqua fresca. My order came up quick and it was freash and hot. My tacos were delicious and the beans and rice were perfect. The cook was way more friendly and inviting then the cashier, but i get it, customer service can be draining. The cook reminded me to try the free condiments of fresh Pico de Gallo and other condiments available at the counter, and im glad I did. If you're ever in the west hollywood area and looking for authentic Mexican American food, with a corner dinner vibe. Then head over to Los Tacos! Friendly, welcoming and great food.“

“It was our first time going to Casa Madera. Food was absolutely delicious each plate we ordered was so flavorful. From the ceviche, to the Caesar salad (best dressing I have ever had), to the tuna tartare, you name it we ordered it. It is nice going with a larger group you can share a lot of the small plates and you get to try almost everything you want. For the main course we got salmon, steak, barbacao for two, tacos, seafood paella (so delicious). Our server Johnny was so amazing and sweet. Overall we had a fabulous time and I would definitely go back for the food experience.“

“Food was good, ambiance was nice and service was excellent. For me, the place was too loud. If you do not mind, I can recommend the place. Just make sure you come early. They do not take reservations and the line was long.“

“Beautiful place with a great atmosphere. The drinks were definitely the highlight of the experience. We ordered an Old Fashioned and it was excellent made the classic way and very well balanced.

As for the food there’s definitely room for improvement. We had the tortilla soup and the bowl felt surprisingly small with very little chicken in it. We also ordered the mushroom quesadilla. I expected the mushrooms to have a bit more flavor and because of the presentation it looked almost like a fried empanada so I expected it to be crunchy but it wasn’t.

Overall the food was okay but it could be better considering the ambiance and pricing.

One more thing that could be improved is the valet parking. They do have parking available right in front of the restaurant but it costs $16. It would be really nice if parking were complimentary for customers.“
