“I visited Zarape for the first time and it happened to happy hour. I was blown away by how good their chicken tacos and guacamole tasted! I definitely want to explore more items in their menu, especially their margaritas.

Special shout out to kindest and most helpful waitress, Bella. She went out of the way to make my experience worthwhile. I’ll definitely become a regular!“

“Have been coming here since 2020 & it used to be one of my fav Mexican restaurants but I noticed within the last 2-3 years I’ve been overcharged for the same meal I’ve been getting, by the lady who works the register. Sure prices have gone up A LOT but any time she works the register, she looks like she doesn’t want me to spend my money and she ALWAYS charges me 3-4 dollars more than when I order with the main cook whom I call Papi. I really don’t like spending my money when I see her & same thing happened just now. This is why I always try to go before she gets in but overall, this place sees less of me because of her. It’s a shame.“

“I was staying in LA for the first time and struggled to find the kind of LA tacos that you hear about online whilst I was staying in West Hollywood. Eventually I found Guisados and it was everything I could have wanted and more. This is the kind of taco place you want to try if you’re keen to better understand what a real taco is like.“

“Drove up from Laguna bch to enjoy the experience... If you want something truly unique this is the place. OC simply doesn't have places like this. Service excellent from Check In onward Everyone is there to make you have exceptional experience. We were early and had drinks at the bar , Exceptional!! Once seated the view was enchanting. Warm evening made you feel like you were in Rivera Maya , even with the open roof the temperature inside was well managed and perfect. Our waiter was awesome- engaging - knowledgeable and very personable- attentively available but not over bearing- timing was great and he knew how to engage with us. That's a rarity .. Food was on point - except for the Wagyu A5 appetizer - while the flavor was great it was extremely fatty and not what I expected. I've had A5 before and it was certainly more marbleized and meaty. None the less despite the little hick up the waiter made up for it and then some. Would certainly try again- great atmosphere- great staff - amazing food and just a rare experience in SoCal dining. Bravo !!“
