“Went there for a little date on Halloween and didn’t disappoint. I had the mushrooms and my partner the duck, both were very delicious.
I think some more classy better quality cutlery and candle holders would help the place reflect the fancy vibe they want.

We felt like we are being rushed by taking our plates and drinks when there's still food on the plates. The drinks are spectacular, pricey but you can taste the alcohol the food is amazing too. We got the brunch pre-fixed. I think for the value of the courses, it's better of to get al carte.“

“Absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and appropriately spicy when ordered Thai spicy. We had the crispy rice salad with sour pork and it was crunchy, flavorful and sour. The sai ua was full of herbs and grilled perfectly, served with a fire nam prik. We also shared the pastrami pad kee mao and it was great. The pastrami works well with the noodles and basil and I always love a green peppercorn! Will have to be back.

Dining room a little weird in shape and quite dark so assuming they’re going for the intimate vibe which probably accounts for the overpriced wine.“

“This place was great! Super fun ambiance and the food was delicious! We had the mac and cheese, Caesar salad, steak and the cookie skillet. Very good! Drinks were decent, but the service was a bit slower than expected. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner here and would definitely recommend.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this place. I am a non cannabis smoker but my family does plus I love the smell. We arrived to be greeted by a Gentleman before we got in to ask if we had reservations or not. We did not. No problem. He told us a little about the place. We chose to sit on the patio. The waitress explained how the place works. They offer gravity bongs the group really liked. They give you extra mouth pieces. We talked and smoked for a while before we ordered. We ordered a smash burger, chicken and waffles and an asada burrito. Now I was thinking the food might not be the best since most people with the munchies are not too picky. The food was amazing. I would go just for the food. We ordered three plates for 4 people and barely finished that. I would recommend it to smokers and nonsmokers. We will definitely go back when we are in that neck of the woods

“What an amazing breakfast! Frank our server was amazing! Split a huge breakfast burrito with my daughter and we had the OG and banana nut pancakes! Perfection! Everything so fresh and locally sourced… this will be our breakfast place every time we visit LA“

“Menu is completely vegan. It was fantastic. We especially loved the Tom Kha Soup and the Tempeh in the Veggie Love stir fry but EVERYTHING was terrific. The service was amazing, every bite of food was unbelievably good, the restaurant and bathroom were immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, parking was easy and free in the lot outside the restaurant. “So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.“

“As always Ethan (our server) was fabulous. We shared the mushroom calamari (which was Excellent!), an Impossible Burger, and for dessert the berry pavlova (yummy) and the affogato. Great night, wonderful food and service. The music was a bit loud (Ethan did us a favor by reducing it a smidge) - I like to enjoy the company of my guests vs competing with the music. “My wife took me here to celebrate my birthday because I wanted to come here. I haven't been to this BOA location in like 10 years so it was long overdue. My wife made reservations and put we were celebrating a birthday. When we arrived to the place, we did the valet parking in front of the restaurant. It's credit card only with the valet so be aware of that. We then walked into the restrauant and checked in, they took us to our table right away. The inside of the restrauant is very nice, exclusive and feel like a luxury place. When we got seated our waiter Abbey came to greet us and told us about their special today. She took our drinks order which was just soda with free refills because I asked since at another place they didn't tell me it wasn't free refills. We already knew what we wanted so when she came back with our drinks, we put in our order. My wife got the Chilean Sea Bass because she was deciding between that or the Linguine with Clams but Abbey said the Sea Bass was a better choice. I went with the Filet center cut at medium with the peppercorn sauce since you get 1 free sauce. We also got regular fries and original Mac & cheese. Our entree came out first and then they brought out the sides after. My filet mignon was delicious, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The peppercorn sauce was good as well but I like my filet more without it. My wife totally loved her Sea Bass, just wish it was a bigger portion because it was delicious. My fries was great as well because I'm more of a French fries person and my wife enjoyed her Mac & cheese. All of the employees here are amazing, they will keep an eye on your table and if there any mess or finished plates then they'll come take care of it. The owner stopped by and ask us about our experience to which we told him we were having an amazing time. We ended the night with a carrot cake that Abbey brought out to us and it was good as well since I never had a carrot cake. I would recommend coming here if you want to try a great steakhouse. We didn't have any issues with the valet and I checked my car hidden dashcam where it records the inside of the car to which the valet driver was respectful since I saw other reviews with bad experiences. They also charge a labor subcharge here so be aware but it's not too bad.

“It’s not ice cream but I couldn’t tell. They serve a frozen nondairy Indonesian style desert that is creamy and satisfying. The flavors we had were filled with chunks of real delicious marzipan and the other had small chunks of delicious chocolate. Highly recommend this (literally) hole in the wall “ice cream”

“If you happen to be in the area this is definitely the go to spot for sushi. I have been coming here for some time now and every time it has exceeded my expectations. Definitely try the kiss me roll, its the favorite of which I have tried. Oh and the service is absolutely lovely, ive had the pleasure of having Yesenia as my waitress the past 3 times and each time she has gone above and beyond for my party. Also the patio is very pretty.“

“I came to Tesse to meet up with a friend and it just happened to be Dine LA week. For the prices, I felt that they offered a good variety and good amount of dishes to make sure you left full, at least for 2 people. Not a cheap place so it was nice to actually get a full meal. Not sure how it would have worked out if we had a larger party being that you get one smallish salad and 2 pastries. The food was very good. For DineLA, the table gets the Morning Baked Pastries (1 muffin & 1 croissant) AND the Little Gem salad AND their Our Famous Gluten-Free Oat Pancakes. Then each person chooses one of the main courses which in our case was their Short Rib Hash and Tesse Burger. We did not try the muffin or the croissant but I did take it home and my sister said it was average. As for the salad, it looked way over dressed but it wasn't so bad when I actually tried it. The dressing was mild so it was good. I really enjoyed their pancakes. If you have any hesitations about the gluten-free or oats, I would say still try them. They were good and would definitely order them again. I enjoyed the Short Rib Hash. It was basically a deconstructed hash, layered with scrambled eggs, short ribs, crispy potatoes, and caramelized onions and peppers. I felt that the short rib could have been flavored more, but eating with the caramelized onions helped. The potatoes were fantastic. So crispy and not burnt. The burger visually looked very plain and boring but it was surprisingly really good. It was on the small side though. I did feel that the DineLA menu was a bit confusing in that the food options were a bit scattered and random, especially in the order that they were served. The service was great. It was not very busy so perhaps that helped but the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would come back again....I just need to be prepared a little extra since once again it is not a cheap place.“
