“Stumbled upon this gem on this rainy Friday night and it frankly made our day. It seems to be a unicorn eatery: the atmosphere / decor so tasteful and upscale, the location central hustle and bustle, the food bursting with flavor - yet prices were completely reasonable and the place felt calming and quaint. Special shoutout to the server tonight who represented a perfect mix of attentiveness and giving us a personal space.

We had tom kha, “chicken” wings and spicy basil. This might become our favorite spot in the area!“

“Great night at BOA in West Hollywood. The Cajun cowboy steak was the highlight, with a bold, spicy crust that added real character without overpowering the beef. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, and the corn was a sweet counterpoint to the heavier dishes.

The ambiance was fantastic, with a lively, stylish atmosphere that made the whole evening feel special. Our server was awesome too, attentive and friendly without hovering. I'd absolutely come back.“

“The Butcher’s Daughter is one of those places I know I can come back to and always have a great experience. Located in the Melrose/West Hollywood area, it has such a beautiful aesthetic. The decor has this really warm, bohemian feel with lots of natural light, greenery, and an overall relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile.

The food is all vegetarian, so if you’re looking specifically for meat options, this isn’t the place. BUT I will say everything is DELICIOUS. They do have vegan + gluten free options available as well, which makes it a great option for groups with different dietary preferences. Everything we ordered was really good, fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared.

The service was another highlight. The servers were genuinely kind, attentive, and accommodating. We had a larger group of more than 7 to 10 people, and they were able to accommodate us, which I really appreciated. Getting a larger group together can sometimes be a headache, so having a restaurant that can make it feel easy is a big plus.

Overall, I really enjoy the combination of the food, atmosphere, and service here. The space is beautiful during the day when all the natural light comes in, and the bohemian decor gives it a very relaxed but still stylish vibe.

If you’re looking for a pretty, welcoming spot with great vegetarian food, good service, and a fun atmosphere, The Butcher’s Daughter is definitely worth checking out. It’s one of those places that consistently delivers a good experience, and I’d happily come back again.“

“We ordered the vanilla-flavored ice cream with palm sugar, and we absolutely loved it! It’s so creamy, smooth, and delicious. The only thing I would suggest is making it a little less sweet. Other than that, it was wonderful, and we would definitely order it again!“

I’ve been here plenty of times before, I feel like it’s my hidden gem but after my most recent visit for my girlfriend’s birthday l, I was just blown away with the service and attention to detail. We ordered the lamb and beef skewers, which were in the Chef’s special side menu, as our starter. Juicy and savory, the side cucumber/carrot salad was so fresh and cut through the meat flavors. Our mains were the best soup I’ve ever had, their Tum Yum soup which is addicting, you don’t want to stop drinking it and the star of the night, their beef brisket Pad See Ew that’s out of this world. We washed it all down with their natural red, another reason we go. They outdid themselves with a complimentary mango sticky rice and birthday candle, which dispite how full we were we devoured

“Everyone thinks LA food is great ,this is big mistake,it’s really hard to find tasty and nice place ,where you would love to be back again .But want to share this place ,it’s called Great white I will promise you will want to come back. Great menu ,good drinks. I love alcohol specially wine.with wine life is better oops here we talking about different things.So back to Great white. Menu is amazing ,fresh and delicious. “We are visiting town from Texas and ran across Irvs burgers in Balboa. Service was friendly and quick. Breakfast burritos was perfect and the patty melt was amazing. “Excellent food and service! Absolutely perfect breakfast. Hot, delicious, HUGE portions. The best chai tea latte I've ever had it - it puts Starbucks to shame. The meal was esthetically a work of art (see photo). The menu said two eggs, but it looked like five. Great French toast - better than I can make myself. Needless to say, I highly recommend Joey's Cafe!“

“Been wanting to try this place for a couple years now. Glad we finally did. Excellent food, much better than any Jinya Ramen. We had a bunch of appetizers. Indeed, their Takoyaki was amazing, Howard Yang! 😍 We had 2 seasonal specials, the Spicy Crispy Shrimp Roll and the cold Tan Tan ramen. Both were fantastic, albeit a bit too spicy for me. Service is super friendly. We will definitely be back. Want to try a bunch of other things, including the hot ramens.“

“Really enjoyed Salt & Straw!

My friend got Sea Salt, and I ordered Strawberry Honey Balsamic and Sea Salt in a cup.
The portions were huge, and everything was delicious.

I also loved that you can sample the flavors before ordering.
My favorite was definitely the Sea Salt!

The shop was pretty quiet when we visited, so ordering and pickup were quick and easy.

I stopped in for a late lunch. I was warmly greeted by Daniel. Daniel set the course of my entire dining experience. He offered to answer questions, and really knew the menu. He was friendly, and confident in demeanor. I could tell he enjoys being there! Every restaurant needs a Daniel💙
I had the impossible BBQ burger ( I'm not vegan, it had cheese and bacon!) and it was sprinkled with crispy, french fried onion bits. It had a brioche bun, and the whole burger was fresh and delicious! I seldom eat a whole thing of fries, but these fries, glittered with fresh parsley, were absolutely perfect, fresh and hot.
The location is clean, and they have fresh flowers, which was a beautiful touch. I cannot wait to return! Thank you, Daniel and team! A++++++“

“One of my favorite restaurants for relaxed atmosphere Thai fusion. This is a very chill hole-in-the-wall style restaurant with great lunch deals and large portions. Orange chicken is soooo good. Good seating inside and a nice small patio outback. Great staff.“
