“NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

It was genuinely the first time in a while that I felt truly cared for and ensured that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, was taken care of. All I wanted was a bowl of soup, but you went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a plate before they left, even as you were closing up shop. “So happy when a Gino's opened up in the LA area! As a Chicago native, I've missed Chicago pizza a ton. Anytime I'm in the valley I swing by Gino's East. Of course, you can get deep dish, but tavern style is standard Chicago pizza in all its cheesy goodness and square-cut slices! Also highly recommend the mozzarella sticks! So crispy and cheesy, especially fresh in person at the restaurant.“

Have been eating here for 7 years now -it is our favorite go to place when we have friends or family visiting from out of town, or a celebration.
The staff has always given us something for free- sake, mochi, or an extra roll.
I dislike fish, but decided to give it a go here. I am hooked! Pun intended!

The food has always been fresh, and the prices are better than you would find at most places. It is never very crowded, except for Friday and Saturday nights.
Everyone we bring to Sumo Sushi- even from other countries say the food is better than average.

My name is Jon and today was my first time visiting Lemonzest. Mediterranean food is my favorite and I am extremely happy that I accidentally found this location while walking by it. I was immediately greeted by the two team members who both had amazing energy that made me feel welcomed!! The music and atmosphere was perfect for anyone to relax while simply enjoying lunch or dinner. Of course, the food... mmm mmm! I am in love with how delicious the food was. The rice was light and flavorful, the chicken was very tender, and the salad was perfectly fresh. For sure Lemonzest will be my first choice when I am too lazy to cook at home.
