“My family (all 8 of us) got together at Bacari on Saturday and had a great time with the food, the service, and the drinks. First, they welcomed us in and checked for food allergies and preferences. Then they helped us pick some great dishes like cauliflower, chilaquiles, Brussel sprouts, and dips. All the food was great. The service was wonderful. Finally, they brought us some great deserts. We love going there since we can chat and enjoy good food and each other’s company. They thanked us for coming both when we were leaving and then by text. Great place!“

“My first time coming here and i was very pleased! It's kinda hidden off Sepulveda south of Ventura, near Dickens. It has very nice outdoor and indoor seating options. The waitresses were super nice and friendly and the food was great! I asked for something i saw on yelp but they no longer serve. The waitress made a recommendation and I was very pleased! I will be going back and having it again!“

“NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

“Hank’s has been my go-to bagel spot for 3 years & it brings me so much joy to be a patron of this establishment. The ingredients are high-quality & the sandwich combos are innovative. The kindness & warmth of the staff is what truly turned me into a repeat customer. Also, they’ve never once messed up my order & considering that I’ve ordered from them north of a hundred times that attention to detail in a consistently busy environment is a pretty incredible feat. “I am a huge fan of Banana Pudding and this place has it. Magnolia is known to be best, but I beg to differ!! Schatzi's in my opinion is the better choice. The pudding is not just fluffed and whipped, it has actual solid ingredients and the perfect balance of bananas. My new go to!!“

My buddy &I order 2 thin crust pizza’s and I know a thing or two about Great Pizza and Gino’s knocked it out of the park. Excellent thin crust , sauce cheese crumble sausage 100% outstanding. “First thing first, the sushi is really fresh. We got the toro, salmon belly, and the yellowtail belly. Saba is a little fishy. The rice is a bit mushy but good enough.

The cooked food is not as great. The agedashi tofu has too much breading and taste average. Kaiju tar tar is okayyy.

The service however took forever, and they never come to check up on us. Servers reach over to get dishes for other tables. Maybe they are short staffed but they should still handle us probably.“

“Now it is Osumo Sushi- the food is still just as good as it when it was run by mostly Japanese people. Jose and the others were super nice. First time eating since the change of ownership in 2020. Did time go by that quickly?? lol

Have been eating here for 7 years now -it is our favorite go to place when we have friends or family visiting from out of town, or a celebration.
The staff has always given us something for free- sake, mochi, or an extra roll.
I dislike fish, but decided to give it a go here. I am hooked! Pun intended!

The food has always been fresh, and the prices are better than you would find at most places. It is never very crowded, except for Friday and Saturday nights.
Everyone we bring to Sumo Sushi- even from other countries say the food is better than average.

“I visited this place on 04/07/2026, and saying that I liked it would be an understatement.

The service was 100 out of 10. The waiter knew the menu very well and was able to make great recommendations. I ordered the coconut milk soup with seafood, and it was absolutely delicious. There was a lot of seafood in it, and the portion was very generous.

We also ordered chicken and drinks. Honestly, the amount of food they brought us could easily feed three people. For $49 total, it was definitely worth it.

I also want to mention the honesty and kindness of the staff. I accidentally left my AirPods at the table, and the waitress found my car in the parking lot and personally returned them to me. That really impressed me and says a lot about the level of service and care they provide.
