About Casa Vega

Casa Vega is a restaurant known for its authentic and consistent Mexican cuisine, with fast and friendly service. This San Fernando Valley landmark has been serving the valley’s best Mexican food and beverages since 1956. The outdoor seating area offers a pleasant dining experience, although it can be a bit chilly at times. The menu features a variety of dishes, including enchiladas, Carne Chile Colorado, and margaritas, at a great value for the money. Customers have enjoyed the classic margarita, Tarantino Margarita, and the cucumber mint margarita, praising the chips and salsa as perfect. The house burrito with ground beef has been noted as good, while the fajitas are appreciated for their well-spiced meat and veggies. Many have had a wonderful experience and found it to be a great spot for sharing margaritas, chips, salsa, and cheesy enchiladas or chile rellenos. The atmosphere reflects a classic Hollywood watering hole, and the cozy booths and lively bar scene add to the enjoyable experience, making it a favorite for friends and family.

Not as authentic as we expected. Very nice to visit a historic iconic restaurant but not impressed!

Loved the Margaritas, Caesar salad and guac prepared at the table. The entrees were great too. The only criticism is that it gets quite noisy and busy so the waiters are rushing to get your orders. But it’s an iconic place and worth the experience.
