“NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

“I’m Rodney from LBC. Driving past Gino’s made huge u-turn Dan met us at door with big welcome friendly greeting. My buddy &I order 2 thin crust pizza’s and I know a thing or two about Great Pizza and Gino’s knocked it out of the park. Excellent thin crust , sauce cheese crumble sausage 100% outstanding. Dan super cool dude , great vibe , great bar with great Chicago pictures. I’d recommend all of LA , SFV,OC and LBC to check this Bad As Restaurant. Great Job Dan ! I will be back Bro ! “This newish restaurant is definitely underrated! We came here for my mom's birthday and I'm so glad we did. We all loved it. The food was absolutely amazing Bolognese 5/5 Lobster pasta 4.5/5 Spaghetti carbonara 5/5 Spaghetti with gamberi 4/5 (very spicy) Spaghetti arrabbiata 4/5 Caesar salad 5/5 Wine (Pinot noir & Chianti) 5/5 Pistachio and chocolate cake 5/5 The service was truly special. They went above and beyond. The restaurant is gorgeous and intimate. It's perfect for dates or family dinners.“

“The dedicated staff at Pizzana deserves acclaim and appreciation. After a crazy night of delivery service fails, dropped drivers, unreachable Chow Now representatives, more delays, and remade orders, Kevan drove our order over themselves. It was a late Valentine dinner, not what we expected at all, but Pizzana made good on their end of the delivery and the food was great. “Came to dine in for lunch on a Sunday.
Quick note: If I could I would leave 4.5 stars just because their ranch dressing is terrible, it's the taste of Kraft ranch from a bottle, chemically, unpleasant versus wonderful pizza place ranch one usually encounters. It didn't feel fair to bring it down a whole star when the pizza is so delicious.

The restaurant is a no frills parlor with lots of movie and celebrity signed memorabilia, chill vibe, a few workers stopping in for lunch. Loved the signed Invincible comic.

The pizza itself is delicious! We got a whole pepperoni and I got a couple slices. The crust is new York style, crunchy and thin and has that savory bready taste. The sauce isn't too sweet and the ratio of toppings was on point. A great pizza at a fair, but little bit high price. One slice was chicken Parm and had a great smattering of more savory toppings than a standard pepperoni. My last slice was a very very simple I believe ricotta spread topping and it was incredible. The dough was so crisp and chewy and almost buttery and the layer of cheese was salty and rich and was perfect with the thin crust. I put a little pepper oil (on the tables) on a few bites and it was divine. I would go out of my way just to get that white slice. With a few drinks, including a delightful orange-creme style orange beverage and a Mexican coke plus the pizza it was all a little over 50 bucks, so not bad. I'm sure we'll be back.“

“We did pick up at this Domino's for lunch. We are on a budget this week. The place was clean, it is not new, but it is nice. We were comfortable.

Our food was ready when we got there. We had these great cinnamon top dough bites and a pasta. We really do love their pasta. They have several kinds and we have had them all and each one is super good.

The service was very nice, from the phone in order to pick up. Everyone was friendly and fast.

We will go to this one again when we are near there.

“Visited last week with a group after hearing good things about it through a friend. Their pizza is delicious, good dough/cheese/sauce ratio. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo pizza and Margherita pizza. I also tried their Chicken Marsala and it hit the spot. They also serve espresso drinks, perfect before hitting the road after stuffing ourselves. Would recommend and definitely coming back.“
