Amy has to be the sweetest most attentive person I have ever met, And I recommend anyone with a pallet for great food/experience to come here. “NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

Taboni in Tarzana is an absolute gem. The pizza is outstanding — perfectly blistered crust, fresh ingredients, and that balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings that reminds you what real pizza should taste like. You can tell everything is made with care. The corn dish was also incredible — sweet, smoky, and loaded with flavor.

What really made the experience stand out was the service. Naor took great care of us from the moment we walked in. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of the food they’re serving. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome right away.

“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Combo Pizza pie tasted better than any of the big chains and we didnt feel bloated afterwards. Green salad was fresh and crunchy. This is honestly the best pizza in the Valley. The ranch is amazing — I’m a huge ranch girl so that’s a big deal for me.
