First of all, The Local Peasant is my JAM!! The food is bomb, the staff is dope, and the atmosphere is a vibe. It's super close to my home, which is nice. It is my neighborhood spot and they better NOT ever close!
Their cocktails are very nice and they have a decent selection of draft beers, but a little pricy. I can't speak too much about the food because I've only ever had their fries (which were very good). Overall a nice place to grab a late night drink with the boys.

MY FAVORITE LA BAR!!! My review is loooong overdue as I've been coming here for years. I've moved further South on Ventura but I still manage to come to what I feel is my home in bar form. I'm a woman who loves mixology and good bartending and most bars are extremely male centric. TLP is great for women and men. It wouldn't surprise me that many women love this bar.
