I brought two friends, we each got something different but all left satisfied. I got the half lemon and garlic chicken. The plate is HUGE could easily share with two people. “I met my friend for breakfast yesterday morning at 8:30 am. Since it was so early, we were able to grab a four-top table on their patio, just outside of the open-air, stylishly beachy restaurant.

We both ordered coffees, a latte and an Americano. She had the overnight oats bowl, which looked delicious and filing, and I had the avocado toast on sourdough. So fresh and good!

The staff were very nice and friendly, and this is a great, laidback place to have breakfast.

There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant; paid parking only.

I will come back and bring my boyfriend! Great location across the street from Venice Beach, too.“

“Came here for dinner and left feeling like I'd just eaten at home. The Aloo Tikki was crispy and perfectly spiced, the Chana Chalupa was a fun twist, and the Noormahal Lasagna was something I haven't seen anywhere else. The Veggie Fun came out at exactly the spice level I asked for, and they were happy to swap in garlic naan. Everything was well cooked and the flavors felt genuinely authentic, which is hard to find in LA.
The service really stood out too. The staff was warm, attentive and super sweet the whole night. You can tell they care about their guests. Highly recommend Roots Indian Bistro, and I'll definitely be back.“

I needed a location in this area to meet two different colleagues, I am the only vegan, I tried this and now I can't wait to go back for more. My colleagues also loved it. They were very happy to make a reservation for me over the phone. The person helping us was kind, helpful, patient. Parking immediately in the center was a little tight, but we did find a spot. Also, street parking is available all around it.“

We ordered the Japanese pizza, which came burnt on the bottom, with very little cheese and unappealing arugula (even when we requested extra parmesan, they brought a minuscule portion). The warm olives were unpleasantly bitter, and the spaghetti was completely average. To make matters worse, the venue was overwhelmingly loud, and the crowded middle tables leave zero privacy, making it feel like everyone is seated together. Definitely not returning“

“I called Slice&Pint last night to order some pizza. Since it was 9pm, the guy said that they were not taking orders anymore for whole pizzas, but it was still possible to have some slices.
I ordered some and drove there right away.
When I got there, I added some extra slices and all the staff was really nice updating my order.

We reheated pizza at home and everything was great.
We got some cacio e pepe, pepperoni and carnitas. 9 slices for about 30 bucks. Highly recommended!

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“
