Two Hommés is officially my new favorite restaurant.
The restaurant is located adjacent to a parking lot with ample parking, which is always a plus. The space itself is small, intimate, and has limited seating, so I highly recommend making a reservation. Even with a reservation, be prepared to wait a bit: it was extremely busy when we visited. Two Hommès is a restaurant known for its fabulous food, with standout dishes including catfish with seasoning perfection, delicious black beans, and amazing Jollof rice. The burger and garlic fries remain popular choices, with crisp crunchy fries and a great sauce. The brunch experience is not to be missed, particularly the super flavorful shrimp and grits and must-order homemade biscuits. The service is excellent, making it a great spot for any occasion. Chef Mando and Chef AB are doing big things blending West African flavors with Cali vibes. The suya shrooms and greens have become a favorite dish, and seafood dishes are out of this world. The Mahi Mahi Tostada, Plantain + Crab, the Jollof Platter with catfish and shrimp, and the Lamb + White Bean Hummus are packed with flavor. Dessert, like the Suya Plantain Cake and the strawberry cheesecake crumble with Thai basil, is a chef's kiss. The Spicy Pineapple Margarita has the perfect kick, and the passion fruit margarita is also yummy. The vibes are on point, with dope music and super chill service, creating a lovely ambiance that feels sophisticated yet cozy.
