“Best [Smash] Burger in all of LA. I’m a loyal customer and fanatic of their burger. Don’t wanna hear about any other smash burger in town because this is the one. Love the sauce. Flavor. Everything. The owner is super cool and down to earth which I appreciate. Seriously, I make them my cheat day meals or just my happy go to meals whenever I need a pick me up (yes, that’s how I feel about this place! Idc!). So there’s my take. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with this place. I’ve been sold!“

“We are visiting town from Texas and ran across Irvs burgers in Balboa. Service was friendly and quick. Breakfast burritos was perfect and the patty melt was amazing. Definitely recommend the chili cheese fries as well. The manager was friendly and welcoming! Thank you for your hospitality, quick eat, and delicious ice ice cream!“

“So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.“

“I love secluded and hidden places in L.A., and Strings of Life Café fits the bill perfectly. I also appreciate cafés that are open until (at least) sunset, which is increasingly uncommon. Strings of Life is open until 6pm. I got their smoked salmon bagel sandwich and a latte ... both excellent and delicious. Also had a nice chat with Hernán.“
