“I've always enjoyed eating here and the guys and ladies that work here have never got my order wrong..until today. But when I took the food back to have the error corrected I was met with a swift resolution, hot delicious tacos and even a free soda for my troubles. This is the spot for great food and great customer service!“

“This place has a DELICIOUS mexican pizza (seriously), and very yummy chips and guac! I also enjoyed their veggie burrito. They have big portions and reasonable prices. The owners are super friendly and the waitress provided very efficient service. The restaurant has a cute and chill atmosphere. WOULD EAT HERE AGAIN! P.S. Get the almond horchata.“

“I've been to many burger spots in my life, but I've never had a burger as good as the Chef Burger from Burger Bun. I'm talking perfectly seasoned beef, and delicious (but not overpowering) burger sauce, crisp vegetables, and the brioche bun is spectacular. There's no burger in Glendale that even comes close. The wings are also some of the best I've ever had and the homemade sauces are so, so tasty. The fries are perfect, and they have amazing milkshakes too. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously good, and the prices are fair. This is my go-to spot in town.“

“You want Mexican home food? This place is it. Order what you think a Mexican mom would make for dinner and not what you order at Taco Bell and you'll have delicious lunch. The service is always great but do plan to take out and enjoy in a nearby park.“

“Lived in this area *Ocean View Blvd, Glendale, LaCrescenta, Eagle Rock, Flintridge, in the late 1960's and my school friends and I used to go to El Charro's on weekends to eat (thought we were really grown up!). They absolutely had the BEST cheese enchiladas I've ever in my life tasted and haven't found any as good since. Wish I could get them to dry-ice and send some of these to my current address in the Northern Great Plains (my home area) but I guess they don't do shipping. Dang, I really miss their food and I also like the red bean and rice burritos, and some other dishes. Always had GREAT salads there, as well. The ONLY mexican place we have here where I live is Chili's - yuk!“

“Almost past this place to go down the street. Something told me to go back. Glad I did. The guy taking our order was very friendly. Very talkative.
Ordered the Asada nachos, an Asada Torta and camera tacos. It is really hard to find a place where the is seasoned well, this place is spot on with flavor. From the meat to the salsa to the jalapeños and grilled onions they have that you can help yourself too. I had to order seconds for the road. I will be coming back for sure. It is a little out of my way but I think we'll worth the drive for the flavor. The portions are a little on the small side but the flavor is spot on. Glad I stumbled on to this place.“

“In the city where I worked for 34 years, Gold Star was my go to. Great menu with lots of varieties. The menu covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast burritos are top shelf and the Bacon avocado cheese burger and the pastrami are winners. Very friendly atmosphere. This may sound goofy, but their soda fountain is always spot on. The soda tastes almost like it's out of the bottle. Better than the fast food places soda fountains. You won't be disappointed.“
