“I ordered takeout, and the owner served me. He was friendly and approachable. But the star of the show was the burrito. Crispy hash brown. Ooey gooey egg done just right. Crisp bacon. My mouth is watering writing this. Next time I’m in the neighborhood I’ll be coming here again. No doubt.“

“Guisasos is an LA institution that has maintained quality and consistensy over the 10+ years I've eaten their superb food even after multiple expansions. Flawless braised taco fillings, topped with a delicious dollops of sauce that are meant to complement the flavor as well as the color of the main ingredient. Thoughtful vegan and vegetarian options as well as meat heavy tacos. Handmade corn tortillas perfect sized. Tamales are awesome too. Of note, no bathroom and the lot is a paid lot however i have never seen enforcement so we always just take the chance.“
