“The place is small it is more for take-out. The menu is very traditional Mexican, it reminds me of Monterrey. Places that I used to go to when I lived in Mexico. My go-to order are the Carne Asada Tacos. I like them because the corn tortillas are made in house. The salsas are good and you can get a small serving of pinto beans.I also like the Chicken Enchiladas Plate or the Carne Asada Plate. The servings are good, the food is fresh, and the service is good.Try the Aguas Frescas if you aren't a soda person.Parking is limited, find street parking and avoid the headache.“

“If you're not here, then you're missing out! Had the burrito and the crispy tacos...and...man o man! Super delicious!!! I would have taken pictures, but the food was gone before I could post anything. The tacos were deliciously crispy, while the meat was marinated to perfection. The garnishes on the side, cucumbers, and radishes, were the perfect addition to my meal. Ordered three of these bad boys with a side of Mexican Coke. Pure cane sugar is so much better than High fructose corn syrup. My wife had the burrito. It was juicy, had all the right seasoning, and fell apart like any delicious burrito should.. Also, I said delicious a ton of times. Because it is! It's delicious!!!“

“Very cool and delicious taco spot, with a low key (get it?) vibe. They’ve expanded their menu in the past year, so now they have even more good options other than their killer chicken and beef tacos. They have bowls that are of similar quantity as a Chipotle bowl, but much higher quality. This is a great lunch stop when coming to Platform at Culver.Vegetarian options: Mushroom taco, quesadilla, and chips + guac are great vegetarian options.“

Enchiladas Poblanas Filled with Goat Cheese and Spinach

“Wow. The Percheron Burrito. It's so good and bad all in one - a bacon wrapped Sonoran style burrito. This thing shouldn't even be legal! From a flavor and foodie experience standpoint, this is a must try. Inside your bacon wrapped burrito is either chicken (my choice), carne Asada, or Al pastor along with queso blanco, tomatoes, sliced avacado, and finished with chipotle mayo. Pure deliciousness, but obviously nothing healthy about it besides the protein. This could become THE iconic LA burrito. A must try.“

“Cerveteca is a hidden gem for taco aficionados, seamlessly blending traditional flavors with a modern twist. Upon entering, the vibrant decor and welcoming atmosphere promise an authentic culinary experience, which Cerveteca undoubtedly delivers. The star of my visit was the Carnitas tacos. Each bite was a symphony of succulent pork, perfectly seasoned, and cradled by homemade tortillas that were both tender and flavorful. It was one of those rare dining moments when you wish you had ordered more, not because of portion size, but because the experience was so delightful.Accompanying my meal, the horchata was a revelation—creamy, perfectly sweet, and infused with just the right amount of cinnamon. It was refreshingly authentic, serving as the perfect palate cleanser between bites of the rich, savory tacos. No visit to Cerveteca would be complete without indulging in their churros. These weren't just any churros; they were a dessert epiphany. Crispy on the outside, yet soft and airy inside, each piece was coated with a divine blend of sugar and cinnamon. Dipping them into the accompanying chocolate sauce was the culinary equivalent of a warm hug.In summary, Cerveteca is more than a taco shop; it's a celebration of Mexican cuisine, where every dish tells a story of tradition and passion. A must-visit for anyone looking to satisfy their cravings for authentic, mouthwatering Mexican fares.“

“This is a Los Angeles virtual landmark, been around forever and is noted for its unique take on Mexican food. This is not the Mexican food you would get in a restaurant this is Tito's spin on it and it's utterly fantastic. If you never eaten here you owe yourself at least one visit to understand why everybody comes here everyday. You can probably say this restaurant's name to anybody who lives in Los Angeles and they'll tell you how to get there. Try the meat and cheese burrito, cheese tacos, and they've got the best salsa which you get tons of along with chips. This is not gourmet Mexican food and the environment is very informal. But you will find this type of food nowhere else, period!“

“The menu usually rotates and have things for special occasions such as lent. However, they have items that are always on the menu such as tacos, burritos (lunch and breakfast). The item that is the favorite on the menu are the Gorditas, filled with the protein of your choice. My favorite is the Gordita de asada con queso. The salsa they have is a bit on the spicy side for some people but I don't think it's hot.“

“Came here with my mom and sisters little while back, and WOW, this place is amazing.Upon arriving, the atmosphere was literally like something out of a movie, with people chatting with workers and everyone getting along. The cashier was a very nice man, asked me if I was 6’3 and if I played a sport. It’s something that I feel goes overlooked, but workers chatting with customers as if their friends is a nice feelingAs for the food, some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in LA. I always thought good food takes a while to prepare, but not here. My meal was ready in about 10-15 minutes, and it’s probably one of, if not the best burrito I've ever had. My mom and sister seemed very happy with their meals and service as well.I definitely plan on coming back regularly, and look forward to doing so!“

“I used to have one of these up the street from my house and loved eating there at least once a week. So when I moved up to LA, I see my next to the grocery store. Even 15 years later, the food still taste as good and fresh as it did back then. A lot of restaurants start declining. Baja fresh is the same good food healthy just not low on the budget. I eat a lot so normally I would go for the tacos and the chicken nachos. That's like eating two meals and about 25 bucks. I still think the term worth having it every once in a while for me.“
