The breakfast burrito doesn’t mess around! STUFFED with eggs, hash browns, bacon, all very fresh / high quality. Even better than Tocaya IMO. Torta is solid but not mind-blowing. Agua fresca is pretty good. Their mild salsa is incredible. Salsa servings are super small but I was able to get additional ones for free. The aesthetic of this shop is pretty cool, reminds me of a San Diego joint.
Recently tried their Torta Tuesday special.. buy one torta (sandwich), get an Agua Fresca for free. Got a Carne Asada torta, which came with chips and salsa. I also picked the pineapple cucumber agua Fresca. Very tasty! This place has limited outdoor seating along Venice Blvd. and is an order-at- the- counter establishment. It's the only place I know of in Culver City that offers fried grasshoppers on their menu...or they used to... not sure if they still do. Haven't been brave...read full review
