“Decided to give this place a try over Dave's for lunch. I'm glad I did. Great flavor, not oily, perfect crispiness, generous portion of potato wedges and the chicken breast was perfect balance of meat to batter ratio.

When I came in to pick up I was asked if I wanted a free vanilla shake on the house and I couldn't say no. Delicious all around. I'll be coming back around during lunch time for the special.“

“Delicious little chicken place. Great food, small portions—kinda. Lots of side, not much chicken. I ordered the dark meat 1/4 plate, $18+ for two small pieces of chicken. Really good chicken, well seasoned.

Chicken was juicy, potatoes golden, bread soft, sauces delectable (chili and garlic). Hummus was RLLY good, and I don’t even like hummus.

Service was friendly and quick, what you’d expect from fast-ish food in Culver. The bright yellow decor is friendly, airy. A nice spot to chat over lunch.

I’m a 20-something guy, so lighter appetites would probably be satisfied with chicken portions. TBH I will be back and ordering the same meal. I’ll just… drink a protein shake first, or something.“

“I have passed by and I got curious, I ordered through uber eats and their pork got me hooked!!! Now I go here to eat in their restaurant. It is a little bit small so on a busy Saturday lunch you might wait in line, their parking is by Dixie hotel, please make sure to ask the servers a copy of what you need to put in your car so you don't get towed.“

“This place might be the only spot in LA that uses rice flour batter for their fried chicken and they’re definitely doing it right! (Not 100% sure, but it’s rare). The wings were lighter, better and crispier. The chicken teriyaki cup bap was good too. Overall exceeded my expectations and the guy there was super friendly. Will definitely be back!“

“I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“As a Regular here, I’m surprised I have not reviewed this fine established yet! My family and I literally eat from this location ONCE A WEEK! It’s either via DoorDash or GrubHub who ever offers the most Discount that week ;) unless I’m in the area I’ll pick it up. Personally if it was my wish or hope I would replace them with all of Dave’s. I’m surprised they only have 2 locations. The sandwich burst with flavor and most recently Im addicted to the Burrito. “Drove from Vegas over here for a concert and stumbled upon this hidden gem. It’s located in a small plaza with limited parking/space. The storefront has a couple comfortable spaces to sit & enjoy their food. The waiter was very kind & checked up on us to make sure we were enjoying the food. We ordered the chicken poppers as an appetizer, dark meat hainan chicken over garlic rice, and the crispy chicken over garlic rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The hainan chicken also came with 2 sauces to dip the chicken in - a hainan sauce which was sour, slightly sweet, and slightly salty. The other sauce was a smoky spicy sauce which was amazing. Both entrées came with a clear chicken soup which was also very enjoyable. Service was very quick, efficient, and caring. Please give this hidden gem a try, you won’t regret it. 10/10 service and taste.“
