Pretty good, overhyped in my opinion but glad I tried it. Was a good experience but not sure I would come back. There are many similar fried fish sandwiches in the city that don't cost an arm and a leg. Nothing really worth raving about when it comes to the ambiance or service here
I recently tried the "viral" fish Sando with caviar at Day Bird, and despite the $80 price tag, I found it to be quite enjoyable. While the caviar flavor wasn't very pronounced, the perfectly cooked fish made up for it. The yuzu tartar with caviar complemented the fries wonderfully. The dining area is limited to high tables, but most patrons seem content dining in the parking lot, which adds to the experience. I got the fish sandwich with the upgraded caviar tartar sauce. It came with French fries and Daybird sauce...it was good. I am not sure the caviar is worth the price point. The filet was cooked perfectly and went well with the potato roll. I would definitely eat there again if I lived in the area.
