“Let's be honest, not many people look on yelp for a review of Pollo loco. The restaurant is what it is with a little to no variation upon locations. Having said that, I frequent this location quite a bit. I always always order with a couple modifications and they're always happy to accommodate, always do it with a smile and 100% perfect. The staff are we seem happy after work and it's a nice place to frequent. Highly recommended,“

“I went to finally try this spot on a Thursday for $2 tenders. Ordered 2 cool (less than mild), 2 glow (mild), and 2 spark (medium). They all came out looking the same and once I tried it all, there wasn't much of a difference in spice level. I could've tried the next tier after Spark --- I think .The batter was great - loved the crunch and crispyness of it.I thought they would've been stingy about the $2 tenders but the size of the tenders were a good size.Staff was nice and efficient for a busy Thursday lunchtime. There's outdoor seating if you can't find a spot inside.“
“this is one of the better hot chicken combos i've ever had even after getting it delivered. the mild sandwich is a true mild and the fry on the chicken is perfect, not greasy. slaw is perfectly vinegary and the sauce that comes on the sandwich and with the fries is perfect. the sandwich was so neatly constructed which i always appreciate and fries were crispy, so good with the sauce.“
“Food was good, even though we were not aware it was plant based until we started eating. We dont frequent plant based or vegan restaurants, so i dont know, but seemed very pricy for me. Family of three, burgers, fries and drinks was around $75. It was a nice experience even though we didnt realize it was a 100% plant based restaurant. Check that off the bucket list ?“
“I ordered half chicken with broccoli & carrots. OMG! Their chicken is so juicy & tender. It is roasted perfectly! They grill the vegetables with garlic oil, extra flavor! I also tried the Southwestern Bowl (wild rice, rotisserie chicken, street corn, sweet potato, tomato, pickled red onion, avocado with chipotle sauce). Super healthy choice!“
“This place is great. I did not give it 5 Stars because it’s rated at 4.8 and this is too high. The food is about a 4.2 and is comparable to Chik-fil-A in terms of quality. So my rating is to try and bring the average where it should be.We ordered the two slider combo (#2) and slider and tender combo (#3). I tried the medium and hot. The medium was the perfect amount of spicy and was even a little sweet. The sweetness could have been the Dave sauce which is some sort of thousand island house sauce.The hot was good too, but it did have a kick. I’m not sure I would enjoy eating two items that were both hot so beware unless you’re into spicy.The tender was delicious, juicy, and well seasoned. I believe it was a chicken breast. It’s much bigger than a Chik-fil-A filet that you can order a la carte.I almost ordered the shake but it was almost $10 with Cinnamon Toast Crunch so I decided to pass.All in all, I highly recommend you try this place.“
“I ordered the cha cha chicken with mild sauce and was quickly corrected by the cashier that I should get the “mixed,” so I could experience the flavor, and I’m glad I listened. It wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy and was yummy. The chicken was melting off the bone and in my mouth, incredible texture. The sides balanced the jerk chicken well and was the perfect serving size. I also got one veggie enchilada to try (especially having the mango sauce on it). It was spot-on satisfying. I asked for a to-go box right when I ordered, just knowing I couldn’t finish all the food. I finished all of it and returned the to-go box, it’s that amazing. I also got the watermelon agua fresca, it was extremely refreshing and not too sweet. Highly recommend trying this Caribbean restaurant that’s only a hop, skip, and a jump away from the beach. Sweet servers, nice atmosphere, and good outside seating area, too.“
