Had an outstanding night watching Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express at the Venice West. Venice West is an intimate venue with a perfect layout for live performances. Dinner was enjoyable and the staff was helpful and friendly. Now for the main event... Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express put on a heck of show. The band was tight and rocked the house. The Venice West is simply and undoubtedly the BEST venue this town had ever had.
I have been to only a handful of shows there since opening, but they book the cream of the crop in musical talent, the menu is awesome (classy exciting options and combos that can satisfy foodies with more sophisticated palettes and still cater to those who do not).
The staff? I have witnessed nothing greater.
