“This was my second time at Wabi on Rose. I really had doubt that the second time could measure up to the first, which was one of the best meals I've ever had. But I was wrong. Last night was extraordinary. Not only is every dish gorgeous, but so fresh and so unique and so delicious. And a shout out to our server who is fantastic. I wish I remembered his name, but he really was great. The whole experience was five star!“

“We had dinner reservations at 7:45. On a Friday night. We were sat immediately but at the most inhospitable table in the restaurant. They should be ashamed of themselves to put a table inline of the waitstaff that literally went past us the entire time. I've never been sat at such a terrible table in my life. Normally I would have just said I'd wait for another table but my daughter was really hungry. In addition to that, they were incessantly grabbing plates off our table when I was still literally eating my food. I had to stop them several times. And then they came with the machine in hand to ask if I wanted anything g else and then proceeded to give me the bill. I didn't ask for the bill but they decided when I needed to get it. Mind you, there were no more people waiting for tables so the rush to move us off of our table was unfounded. Every table around us were still sitting and enjoying each others company except for us. I am more than livid at the waitstaff's pushiness and they need to be trained better.“

“The best local sushi spot in Venice. I love the indoor/outdoor vibe — it’s perfect to watch a game (they have huge screens). The fish is always fresh and the bamboo sake is alway cold. They also have amazing mochi, ask for the mochi tower.“

“Good Japanese foods , many varieties of dishes . The fish grilled sea bass is cooked just perfectly fine . The salad is kinda american Japanese fusion but still good . The carbonara noodle - I don’t really care (It doesn’t really fit with the rest of the dishes) - overall is a great place to enjoy Japanese foods“

“A vegan friend recommended that we meet up for dinner on a Turaday to enjoy the atmosphere and the sunset. I had never been before and the best part of getting food with friends is to try a little bit of everything! We ordered a lot of shareable items and they were all delicious. My favorite was one of the sushi appetizers that was absolutely delicious.

We also got the matcha berry cheesecake dessert. That was a very nice balance of all flavors and did not overwhelm with a matcha flavor. I will definitely go back there again when I am in Marina Del Ray.

Suggestion: your food runners should take 15 seconds longer to slow down and clearly state what they are bringing to the table and conclude by asking us if we have any questions or if we need anything else. The sushi is amazing- super fresh, beautifully made, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every bite. The Santa Monica location keeps that same high standard we’ve come to expect, with great service and a chill but still elevated vibe.

Excellent cooked dishes and best yuzu ramen in LA. Servers are really friendly and attentive. Happy Hour menu and 50% hand rolls are a great deal. Also love the plenty parking spaces in the rear.“
