“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nonstop Sushi & Sake Bar in Marina Del Rey, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we felt welcome throughout our visit.
The menu at Nonstop Sushi & Sake Bar is extensive and offers a wide variety of options, catering to both sushi enthusiasts and those who prefer cooked dishes. We started with the Garlic Edamame, which was perfectly seasoned and a great way to kick off our meal. The highlight, however, was the sushi. The Spicy Tuna Roll and the Yellowtail Carpaccio were absolute standouts. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced and delicious.
One of the unique features of this restaurant is their sake selection. The staff were knowledgeable and helped us choose a sake that perfectly complemented our meal. It added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.
The ambiance is trendy yet intimate, making it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The outdoor seating area is a nice touch, offering a pleasant view and a relaxed vibe.
Overall, Nonstop Sushi & Sake Bar exceeded my expectations. The combination of high-quality food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit in Marina Del Rey. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon“

“Such a delightful late night spot. The service and food was amazing! It was such an authentic and thoughtfully-crafted experience. They even offer warmed towels to cleanse your hands with before being served. The wonderful humans at Moto Azabu were so unbelievably accommodating; I use a wheelchair and unfortunately there is no elevator, so they carried me up the stairs without hesitation. Im fairly certain one of the kind souls helping us was the owner. Such a kind soul and a rarity in LA. Few places deserve our patronage like this little gem. I can’t wait to return. Next time we’ll bring strong friends :)“

“Got the Trust Me and Sugarfish, I Trust You! The line-up was so good and so fresh, from the salmon to the himachi to the rice. Loved eating outdoors with our dog in the pleasant plaza. Great people-watching. Would go back tomorrow.

“Location is everything, especially when seated on the patio facing the marina with boats big and small directly in view. One never tires of this scene even after enjoying the meal. Portions are still big at Killer Cafe, but prices are up, way up.
Parking: Small parking lot fills up quickly on busy days.“

“Incredible service from Adam and the rest of the team. There is an open kitchen showing everything being prepared right before you. I was especially surprised at how quickly the dishes were coming out. The hand rolls were incredible and the most delicious specials! Honourable mention for the Mochi, a must try! Honestly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! 100% would recommend ???“

“Come here for happy hour! Mad we missed it by a half hour. Happy hour 5-6 and 8-9. Most of the rolls and apps and drinks are on the happy hour menu at a very discounted price. Rolls on happy hour are like 13 instead of 18 or 19.
The edamame app was huge, plenty to share. We were 3 and couldn’t finish it. And it was super fresh with a good amount of salt on it which I like. The rolls were fresh and delicious. I liked the shrimp tempura and ultimate salmon roll. The garlic ninja roll was good too. Those were my favorites. The salmon crunch roll was too spicy for me. The plum wine was very sweet. The matcha beer just tasted like beer but was colored green. I guess there was matcha in there too but I didn’t taste it.
It was quiet on a Monday night. I made a reservation but didn’t need to. Very casual place and wait service was very friendly. Lots of robots also roaming the street and picking up orders :)“

“Superb place. Unfortunately Jonny Won (?) left couple of years ago but the current Chef is more than capable of upholding this restaurant's glowing reputation for exceptionally fresh ingredients and superb cooking skills. My only advice is to stick to fish and leave the meat dishes as, although nice, are not quite "wow" as they used to be.“

“Brother's sushi is the best in all of LA! I've been to brothers many times now and can say that they have the best service, the best fish, the best Japanese dishes, and the best sushi in Los Angeles. They have an amazing friendly service and the food here is top notch for any occasion. I've been here with friends and for date nights. If you're looking for top tier sushi then you must go here. The Santa Monica location is our go-to location. I highly recommend it. Chef Mark is the best and our host Yuki always welcomes us with great hospitality. Thank you Brothers Sushi!!“

“Lovely spot for Sushi, very elegant and chic. I definitely enjoyed the sushi tasted very fresh and had that silky taste to it. It was also my first time trying the purple flowers I forgot the name but they were delicious. I'm unsure if its very busy but it looked almost empty when we arrived very calm and pretty. The little shopping center outside was also fun.

“Probably the best Sushi/Sashimi place in Los Angeles.
I know fresh and quality sashimi/sushi and this probably the freshest I've seen in a long while. The owners are super sweet, top notch service and the restaurant interior is so clean and comfortable. Again the quality of the fish was above the norm.“

“Some high quality sushi, but highly influenced by the other guests in there since it is so small. Given that it is in the Fairmont, that can be a crapshoot (like the day we went where two of the female guests were a bit tipsy, super ornery, and loud - overshadowing our experience).“

“During my trip to the U.S., the best food I had was sushi. The quality of the fish was exceptional, and everything from the appetizers to the dessert was perfect. You could really feel the care and high-quality ingredients in every dish. The service was also incredibly friendly. I enjoyed a delicious omakase with friends in a private room. If I ever travel to the U.S. again, I’ll definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended!“

“If you happen to be in the area this is definitely the go to spot for sushi. I have been coming here for some time now and every time it has exceeded my expectations. Definitely try the kiss me roll, its the favorite of which I have tried. Oh and the service is absolutely lovely, ive had the pleasure of having Yesenia as my waitress the past 3 times and each time she has gone above and beyond for my party. Also the patio is very pretty.“

“Chef Shin and his wife are phenomenal hosts. The full omakase is unique and beautifully presented by the chef. Furthermore, Shin does his best to impress every customer, while describing the dish and even showing pictures of the fish prior to preparing. The omakase fee is extremely competitive and the saki list is top notch. All items are seasonal and well chosen by the chef. You will probably taste some seafood that you have never tasted before. Please try Sushi Miyagi, and I guarantee that you will be booking another reservation right after you leave.“

“This hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant has some of the BEST sushi I've ever had. It's a quaint setting inside, but Hato near Koreatown LA is serving up QUALITY sushi and fun Japanese fusion dishes.
Here's everything you should try:
- Toro garlic toast, this is like spicy tuna crispy rice but make it ~GLORIFIED~ with caviar and gold flakes on top.
- 8-piece premium sushi set that comes with miso soup made from fish bone. Each piece of fish was perfectly dressed and melts in your mouth.
- If you're in the mood for cooked items, try the Hato rice in hot stone, this was absolutely delectable with two HUGE chunks of black snapper and so umami~
Thanks for reading! ^-^“

“Went to my chiropractor on Beverly and had a hankering for Sushi for lunch. Took Melrose on my way back and stumbled upon this place. Four different types of lunch specials for $17.88. A steak I say! Great service, clean and fun/funky environment, and fresh sushi at the right price! If you’re shopping on Melrose, give em a try!“

“(Tldr below) The freshness of the chirashi sushi fish was not bad for the price ($40), but the overall seasoning was disappointing. It wasn't right or too strong (white fish yuzu pepper sauce, bitter cucumber, too sweet seaweed, etc.), the fishy smell from the red fish or shrimp wasn't completely gone, or it felt like it would have been better if the rice itself was moist and delicious... While eating this. I was satisfied with the fact that I was eating raw fish that was better than supermarket sushi for the price, but I was disappointed that I didn't feel like I was eating delicious food. I only wrote about what was disappointing, but the fish was still good, so I think I'll go again if it can be supplemented.
Chirashi fish was fresh given price point, execution of seasoning and sauces a bit overpowering to my taste.“

“I had lunch there twice this week. The food is excellent. The fish is very fresh, specials are unique and delicious. Baked green lip mussels were amazing, baked black cod hand roll in soy paper was terrific. When I’m back in town I will be there again. My office is around. The corner.“

“The only sushi spot I go for food and drink in Koreatown. Great area with ample street parking, plus valet, if need-be. Or get a takeout order!
When it comes to sushi, I am pretty much a broken record, ordering same items every time for many years at a time.
If you’re not sure of what to order, always ask your server! Also. Huge selection of soju, sake, beers, with premium options.
Great food, friendly service, and it is on the quieter side of town, which is a big reason I frequent.“

“Exec chef and owner Pearl Steffie is creating phenomenal plant based sushi and more at Kusaki. Tucked away in a strip mall shared with a 7-11, Kusaki is a stunning Zen oasis in busy West LA. Started with the fried green beans which are charred, garlicky and addictive. Of the four nigiri that we tried, the tuna and salmon were the standouts. Followed by the yellowtail. The spicy tuna maki is an exact replica of the fish version. And the seasonal crispy crab roll tastes like crab! How do they do it?! "Dessert" was the "wagyu" yakitori skewers. Unreal!!!! Great Japanese beer selection as well as sake. Service is extra special. We will be back a lot to enjoy this amazing place.“

“Been coming here for years. I usually get the two item combo. The amount of food you get is filling. Food always tastes fresh. Here are the items I like: teriyaki chicken, tempura, salmon avocado rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and miso soup. I've tried other items and they were all good but I keep coming back to these. The place is clean and the service is friendly. Parking can be challenging during peak hours but I've always managed to find a spot. Give this place a try“
