“Always my go to spot after Panini cafe closed during the pandemic. Great services, great ambiance, healthy food! We get all sorts of salads and 3 item plates, and sometimes bowls.”
“First timer. Was very impressed!! The food was amazing . Good Mexican food in a lushes beautiful area. I would highly recommend for any occasion . Will definitely be returning.”
“Stopped by for a late night drink for a friend. Was a little confusing finding the place, but that was the only issue. The server was very friendly, and even though they were about to close we didn't feel pressured or rushed at all. The cocktails were great - I always try to find slight various on my favorites, and Joliet didn't disappoint. The ambience was chill and casual, and not too loud, always a plus for me.”
“Really good food and service. It's small so you need a reservation to be inside. A little loud for me, but may have just been the crowd that night ;) would definitely go again :)”
“Please come visit Mikey at Astro pub in Playa. Vista. This Whole Foods. Food is beautiful. The service is beyond beyond imagination and I've owned a restaurant for 27 years. It feels like home. All because of this guy Mike he truly knows how to run that joint! 5”
“we LOVE the breakfast burritos from hash and order them for delivery every now and then. today we ordered and it came with a chocolate croissant and a handwritten note that said, “free fresh baked chocolate croissant. enjoy :)” this was such a sweet surprise and made our day!! (it was also delicious!) thank you hash ❤️ we love your burritos and will continue to order them.”
“Great service, really quiet and chill atmosphere. The same goes for the neighborhood it’s located in - new apartments and condos in an upper middle class area. Parking is limited to the street, which can get crowded in the late afternoon/evening.”
“First time at this location. I usually go to the one in DTLA, this location was nice had a good inside and outside seating area, service was great and food was delicious, I had the chicken fajita burrito and a side of guacamole and planting chips. My buddy tried out the salmon salad and the taco sampler. We enjoyed all of it. The service was quick and great ??. Only downfall about this place was that parking was a bit difficult to find.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp for wheelchair ♿️ access”
“Absolutely delicious burger. The fries were cold but tasty. The smoothie was nice even if it wasn't my flavor profile (stole a sip from a family member).Service was weird. We were mistakenly brought or discussed items that weren't ours. Plus we didn't know about assigned tables so we had to move. Should there be a host or sign to assist? To new customers, go order your chow and they'll assign you seats.”
“I didn't eat here this time so I cannot speak to the food however, I can speak about the customer service being great. Myself and two friends came on a Saturday evening and we sat outside by the fire at the table and were given blankets to keep us warm and that extra touch made a world of difference.I'll be back.”
“Update, review below is invalid, as the business is now in the ownership of an artisan pizza store, Which in my opinion, is not pizza, but fancy flatbread concoctions of dough.Low acid (SM) sauce, combo (PPM)mozzarella, 00 flour! This is an authentic nyc Neapolitan slice. Authentic by Italian standard which is slowly disappearing in ny.Obviously there are different types of ny pizza ( Neapolitan, Margherita, Sicilian) outside of these types and it’s an experiment project. In queens and Brooklyn you get more sauce, Bronx more cheese, Manhattan equal parts.Pizza should never be eaten with a fork, fold slice and paper plate in half and eat. Sauce and oil won’t drip down your forearm. Pizza on the west coast is pineapple and ham, broccoli, no sauce or gluten, taco- fork and knife “special” ....... if this is what you’re used to, respect. There is no comparison however, and it comes down to what we are accustomed to eating. The west coast isn’t historically Italian though, hence the artisan experiment.NYC plain cheese, wing, pasta and antipasto spot.* If it’s gluten free there’s no elasticity in the dough and you’re left with a dry cardboard type of bread.I am not a food critic, but I am sincere and 40 years of NYC pizza consumption is my credential.RL”
“I don't care if there are 3 stars in this store. It's super convenient and a way better shopping experience than the National and Santa Monica stores. This store is struggling amid COVID-19 and people are leaving sh*t reviews”
“My husband and I love this hidden gem in Playa Vista. We always get the falafel gyros with GF pitas. They are very good portions, filled with deliciousness, and topped with amazing sauces. We come here on a semi-regular basis and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options”
“I could spend forever in this Whole Foods. What an absolute joy. And all of the employees are so kind and helpful. I am a healthier, happier person because of this WF, I love the service, quality of food, and overall experience, and have nothing but great things to say. Thank you Whole Foods!!”
“Wow! My son and I ate here for a very special dinner. The ambiance was cozy & finely understated, dimly lit along the neckline of diners to create elegant, artful hyyge -- top to bottom. Our waiter was a poised, warm, & knowledgeable gentleman, educating us and engaging generously with my son -- his commentary and conjecture with easeful comfort and charm. Each member of the staff we got to talk to was equally thoughtful and welcoming, making the meal all the more precious because of these extremely heart-felt connections. The food was artful & delicious, obvi. Overall exquisite. Thank you, Team Providence!!!!!”
“Yes!!! Welcome finally the Dutch crunch bread and all the great choices to along with it!!! Great sandwiches, hefty from X to XXL. Visit this place and treat yourself to a great sandwich!!!”
“Lovely spot with incredible atmosphere and food. The food was presented nicely and tasted even better. Would highly recommend the scallop/uni course and the skewers! the beef tongue was our favourite. As for the bone marrow, it was a little shallow and the miso overpowered it.Overall, I’d highly recommend n/soto to anyone looking for Japanese food around the area. Would definitely come again.”
“The influence of Alice Waters and David Tennis is at play in the $45 prix fixe 3-course lunch, simple, elegant and delicious. The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.”
“Best upscale Filipino food on the Sunset strip! Will definitely be back.Try the lechon kawali and chicken skins! OMG! So heavenly! Our server was great and very sweet and seemed to genuinely care that our experience is nothing short of superb!”
“This place is divine. It is true authentic French and you feel like you've been transported to Paris when you go. The food is so finely prepared with quality ingredients and each dish is so unique and delicious. It's my new favorite!”
“The best tripas! Bien doraditas! All the salsas are Delish!!!!! Highly recommend it. So glad they're in my neighborhood. We keep giving him business because we want to stay here.”
“I was offered an all-expenses paid trip to the "Clark Street Diner" (克拉克街餐厅) on Franklin Avenue. During this All-American™ escapade, I was slyly offered a small bag, containing salt-upon-sea, by a dishevelled, camoflauged Hollywoodian native whilst engourging of the delicacies delivered by this All-American™ "Clark Street Diner" (克拉克街餐厅). I indulged in this salt-upon-sea once entering their one (1) lavatory. This legal and easily accessible substance enhanced my dining experience tenfold. It should be offered at the table, and is my only complaint with the experience. I should not rely on local pathfinders to expand my experience.Vegetarian options: No.Kid-friendliness: The kids were very friendly ! They thoroughly enjoyed my salt-upon-sea.”
“This is definitely a hidden gem in Beverly Hills!!! It's in a prime location with reasonable prices. Their cocktails are affordable and have lots of flare. I recommend the "Spellbound" if you like bourbon. Their service is swift and friendly. My favorite food items were the spicy tuna crispy rice and the Wagyu Pepperoni Pizza. They also have pretty decent sized portions to share. After shopping on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Bar is a nice place to stop without breaking the bank.”
“We loved the Portland location and had high expectations when visiting in LA. Fortunately, Farmhouse Kitchen lived up to its reputation! We visited over lunch which provided a special menu option with soup, appetizers, and entree. Service was impeccable - so friendly and attentive. We'll be back!”
“This place is very close to achieving what it's setting out to do: provide an elegant vegetarian dining experience. I think that might be hard to pull off in a strip mall however. The food and the art are fantastic but the interior design was poorly executed and comes off looking a little cheap. I went for my birthday but for the price this might have been a one time experience. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-06”
“The beef fry with porotta was amazing. It was cooked perfectly. Chicken 65 was perfectly crisp.Kerala special chicken curry was tender and flavorful. Recommend all 3. Mango lassi was the best and perfect consistency!”
“It's a tragedy that Manzke is closing at the end of February. A restaurant this good shouldn't have to close. Everything is fantastic. The food is rich in flavor with a cocktail and wine list as close to perfection as possible. I'd encourage anyone who loves fine dining to enjoy Manzke while you can. Oh, and the butter is heavenly...”
“Great tasting food, service was attentive, atmosphere/decor was great. We were told to order more food than we thought necessary, by the time we got the last dish - we couldn't finish it. Unfortunately, they packed it up in such a small container that you could tell half of the curry was thrown out! Recommend to use a bigger container!”
“Incredible cheesesteak and food here. If you want an authentic Philly cheesesteak (they have wiz and LONG HOTS!!!!) - this is the spot for you. As a transplant, it’s hard finding good authentic Philly food- this place makes it possible. I love it.”
“We've enjoyed Rossoblu, so expected good things form Superfina but took us a while to try it. The menu doesn't seem too inventive--fried calamari, little gem Caesar salad -- all the mandatory California-Italian offerings. Still, everything we had was wonderful. The calamari were perfect--so good that we barely tried a fiery red dipping sauce that accompanied it. The farro salad was a bowl of simplicity and uniqueness--the arugula, carrots and radishes were very fresh tasting with a vinaigrette that let us taste the vegetables. I had the lamb pasta while my companion had the clam pasta. We loved our own dish but would have been happy trading as well because they were both fantastic. The lamb was extremely tender, the pasta al dente and carried the flavor through and through. The service was fast and cordial, which should be expected on a early Sunday evening when the place wasn't very busy. While a little too expensive to become a frequent regular at Superfina, it is still worth a return trip or three.”
