Heard so much hype about Soban so I wanted to try it out. The inside was a lot smaller than expected so try to come when it's not busy or make a reservation before. The dishes were really flavorful and I totally understand why there's so much talk about Soban. I demolished the braised black code which was my favorite, and I'm not usually a big fan of fish. Small, quiet, and reserved in Korea town LA. Loved finding this gem of an area that was featured a couple times from famous celebrities and Youtube stars. The menu is very simple with only a few options with each catering to every hungry soul out there. Though they have a very small menu, they take their pride is making sure that the quality of the food is fresh, flavorful, and something definitely to be remembered. Food was good! I love their black cod casserole (daegu jorim) and their raw crab. Didn't love their banchan although they did have decent variety. There is parking (sign is in Korean).
