“Great white is an amazing place. I’ve been there for dinner and lunch. The breakfast burrito is my favorite in all of LA but the dinner experience, the atmosphere is very fun it’s the perfect spot for casual family friendly dinner where the food is amazing The burger was delicious and so are the fish tacos. finally, the banana bread for dessert was so tasty.“

“The 5 stars is for the service, staff and attentiveness. The environment is also pleasant. That said, the food is very heavy and rich, without notable flavor. We ordered 7 different dishes. The meat and fish quality seemed very good but the preparation and flavors were seriously lacking. It was just really hard to get through the plates with nothing fresh, nothing crisp and no contrast of lightness. There isn’t a single fresh green salad on the menu. Our stomachs simply all hurt for the duration of the evening afterward. Too much oil? I didn’t have an appetite for the next day and felt queasy! Quite odd.“

“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. Overall perfect restaurant choice for anyone but especially college students and young professionals who want a satisfyingly delicious, quality meal without breaking the bank.“

The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. Every dish arrived fresh, full of flavor, and cooked exactly as ordered. “I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“

“What a great date spot or place to have a classy meal! Cant beat having a view of the ocean and also being propelled to a speakeasy vibe. The staff was extremely kind, and made us feel very welcome. My partner is celiac, and it was a treat to have so many yummy gluten free items on the menu. We had pork chops, wild boar risotto, chicken skewers and cauliflower/ corn- all gluten free! The general manager, Kieran, came over to check in with us, and told us he’s celiac so he makes sure there’s a lot of options on the menu. Definitely will be coming back!“

“Went here for Easter brunch and was surprised I hadn’t heard of this place before. The food was great! I ordered the steak and eggs and while my steak wasn’t a perfect medium rare, the flavor and portion size made up for that immensely. The cocktails were delightful as well! Pricing was as expected for the area and quality. We were seated outside in a makeshift patio in the parking lot, but it was well done and the service was quick and attentive. Next time I would probably try to eat inside or in the smaller patio by the entrance, where the vibes and decor are beautifully done. There is ample free parking in the back as well. I will be back!“

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes.
