Had recently visited New Orleans and needed something in the SoCal area to scratch that itch. Had the seafood gumbo and a shrimp po'boy with mac and cheese. The owner was lovely and incredibly nice. Food did take a bit of time but so worth it. The shrimp in the po'boy was well seasoned and had amazing flavor. The gumbo was phenomenal as well, packed with everything you'd expect giving you a nice warm fuzzy feeling after eating it. Mac and cheese was great too, rich in flavor....read full review

I've been in Los Angeles California for over 40 years. This one of the far most the most delicious soulfood i have had in years. Gave me a Lil taste of home. I'm sure other dishes are as delicious .
