“If you are looking for a dive bar, this place is it! Chris met us with a smile and was friendly and fun the whole time we were there. Nice mix of customers. Felt welcome the whole time.

Plenty of seating. 7 tables on the side that could seat at least 6 people each and that isnt counting the bar itself! One pool table in front, a darts machine, a punching machine, AMI jukebox and an ATM. Oh, unlike most dive bars, this place takes cards and is not cash only.

Nice pours and a good selection of bottled beers. This is an old school dive bar so don't expect draft beer or blended drinks.

Plenty of parking and clean bathrooms too.

What are you waiting for? Thirsty? Come by and see for yourself. This is the last dive bar in Norwalk. Lets make sure it stays in business.“

“Everything about this place is awesome! Ishmael helped us and his whole vibe was chill (in the best way possible) and kind. The tea was wonderful and the food was delicious - so.much.food. My only adjustment to the whole experience would be to turn by one quarter how people are seated at the tables. My daughter sat with her back to the door and I was facing her. The glare from outside was pretty bright so I wore my sunglasses most of the time. We probably should have just taken it upon ourselves to scoot around.“

“We spent a few hours here on New Year's Eve. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The owner greeted us and offered us snacks.
They have a live DJ spinning turntables, bumping music from the past to present. There's an outdoor patio in the back.
The drinks were tasty and affordable. Try the Adios MthrFckr. Bomb!“

They always let me charge up myt scooter while I have a beer. Otherwise I will not make it home. And some days it's not a laughing matter. It's that close of a call. The bartender seems nice. “I am a femme lesbian. I am quiet, tend to just enjoy my alone time and mind my own business. I stopped in here last night because I'm traveling solo and wanted a safe place to hang out around like-minded queer folks. Brought a notebook because I didn't feel like staring at my phone. Disappointingly, I was heckled by a patron who insisted I was straight, didn't belong, and was only there because I wanted attention. They weren't quiet about it. Appeared to be a regular.

The staff were otherwise kind and welcoming. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I do feel that general social atmosphere is a pretty major contributor to overall quality/safety, especially in queer-forward spaces.“

Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. “Pleasantly surprised to have this experience of flavor, ambiance and service. We normally go to Nico’s or Marlena because of its consistency of flavor and location to home. Viaje is the equivalent and then some. The chef is from Mexico City and is the real deal. The food, starting off with the ceviche 9/10, ribeye appetizer 10/10, branzino 10/10 and then the dessert of the tres leches 10/10. Ok, so you don’t quite believe me, well, try 11/10 for the consume broth for the lamb appetizer!! David was our server recommended we just try the broth since we were so full. We were dipping tortilla chips into the broth like little kids it was so good!! It didn’t matter how full be were!

Food all came out timely and together nice and hot. It’s rare to have everything taste that good from start to finish. Price may be an obstacle for most, but doesn’t break the bank like a Michelin Star place. Viaje is one of those restaurants that need to stay on 2nd St…it is the very best on that strip if not all of Long Beach.“
