“If you are looking for a dive bar, this place is it! Chris met us with a smile and was friendly and fun the whole time we were there. Nice mix of customers. Felt welcome the whole time.

Plenty of seating. 7 tables on the side that could seat at least 6 people each and that isnt counting the bar itself! One pool table in front, a darts machine, a punching machine, AMI jukebox and an ATM. Oh, unlike most dive bars, this place takes cards and is not cash only.

Nice pours and a good selection of bottled beers. This is an old school dive bar so don't expect draft beer or blended drinks.

Plenty of parking and clean bathrooms too.

What are you waiting for? Thirsty? Come by and see for yourself. This is the last dive bar in Norwalk. Lets make sure it stays in business.“

“I’ve been here a couple of times now and every experience has been amazing. Birds and the entire staff truly know how to make people feel welcomed and special from the moment you walk in. The cocktails are not only delicious, but I also love that each bartender has their own signature cocktail on the menu. It made the experience feel personal and gave us a chance to try something different every time.

One of my favorite parts was hearing the bartenders explain the inspiration behind their cocktail and why they chose certain ingredients. You can really tell there’s creativity, passion, and intention behind what they do. The energy, hospitality, and attention to detail keep me coming back. They are truly amazing and I can’t wait to visit again.“

“The food is amazing 10/10 but the outdoor patio dinning is awful. You cannot have a conversation because the sound echos so loudly and when the staff moves tables around they drag it along the tile and all of the tables have to stop and wait till they are done to be able to speak again with your table.“

“This is the spot if you need a good, cold drink & a chill, old school vibe. I don’t like bars that have windows & Poor Denny’s is old school in that regard. Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. I stopped in here last night because I'm traveling solo and wanted a safe place to hang out around like-minded queer folks. Brought a notebook because I didn't feel like staring at my phone. Disappointingly, I was heckled by a patron who insisted I was straight, didn't belong, and was only there because I wanted attention. They weren't quiet about it. Appeared to be a regular.

The staff were otherwise kind and welcoming. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I do feel that general social atmosphere is a pretty major contributor to overall quality/safety, especially in queer-forward spaces.“

The bartenders are really nice, it’s a great crowd of people that u can feel at ease with and the drinks are delicious. I like the location because it’s by all business that close early so there’s plenty of parking at night. There’s a Mexican food taco stand on the corner if u get hungry. They always let me charge up myt scooter while I have a beer. Otherwise I will not make it home. And some days it's not a laughing matter. It's that close of a call. The bartender seems nice. But she is busy with other people. And that is good for business.“

“Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

“Ate lunch Mother’s Day so understandably was a busy day. We made a reservation and they sat us quickly. Brought us water timely. We ordered drinks, appetiser
and our lunch. Although we had some mishaps with getting our food timely and sending one meal back, everyone took very good care of us and treated us well. The food was great. The Rib Eye was huge.(not pictured) Desserts were fabulous. We will definitely be eating here again.“

“Came here with the boys on a Saturday night of debauchery. Always drive by, never went in. Decided to visit instead of the bikini bar across the street. Very pleased, excellent prices, awesome regulars(from what I could tell). Very chill and welcoming. They had karaoke going which was fun. Cash only though.“

“Sun light hours, this is a neighborhood bar with 50% of patrons being regulars. Staff knows everyone, and it's very welcoming. Come at night if you want a good drink and a loud dive bar. Pool table, golden tee, and they just added 2 dart boards. Live music a few nights a week. Cheap prices here don't mean cheap drinks.“
