The red onion focaccia bread with herb and Parmesan butter, added Burrata - best- seller, a must. The 3 day brined smoked fried chicken-different taste, with soy and Chiles, a must!!!The Peruvian pork belly with sweet potato , Criolla and crispy quinoa , love it! And the Grilled NY steak with green garlic chimichurri, chorizo aioli and pommes pont neuf, thick cut fries…my son prefers over the fried chicken.“

“Was pleasantly surprised with the food of this place. Relatively easy to get a reservation during the week. Definitely recommend sitting outside with the bonfire pits. Service was a little slow and the we got our food very spaced out hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.“

“I met my friend for breakfast yesterday morning at 8:30 am. Since it was so early, we were able to grab a four-top table on their patio, just outside of the open-air, stylishly beachy restaurant.

We both ordered coffees, a latte and an Americano. She had the overnight oats bowl, which looked delicious and filing, and I had the avocado toast on sourdough. So fresh and good!

The staff were very nice and friendly, and this is a great, laidback place to have breakfast.

There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant; paid parking only.

I will come back and bring my boyfriend! Great location across the street from Venice Beach, too.“

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“

“Tonight we, my husband and I, with our dear friends, the Crays, dined at Tomat for the first of what will be many times. The restaurant features a dining room and a roof top patio. A welcoming, comfortable space. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about all menu items. Our server Miley took excellent care of us throughout dinner and dessert. She assisted us with choosing items that would pair well with each other. She was never too busy to stop to see if everything was to our liking. She brought the chef to our table so we could let him know personally how much we enjoyed his creations. He gave us a bit of background on his plan of sustainability and creativity for his restaurant. The food was amazing. We had several appetizers. The tuna carpaccio was amazing, light and dark tuna with the freshest tomatoes. The welsh rarebit was so delicious. The weiser melon with strawberry kimchi was a delicious surprise. The house milled saffron rice was amazing. Our mains did not disappoint. The trout and chips were excellent. Everyone at the table said “best trout we have ever had”. The vegetable chips were outstanding. The vaca vieja ribeye was perfectly cooked. The pork three ways with chamoy was also perfectly cooked. Dessert was madelines, warm from the oven, with the strawberry sorbet and the saffron ice cream. All were outstanding. Overall, this was a fabulous dining experience. Great food with great service in such a comfortable atmosphere. And, we have already made reservations for next month!“

“After a little confusion at the beginning, the manager came over and could not have been kinder! The food was some of the best we’ve ever had, the service was amazing, and the ambiance was unbelievable!
This was my second visit, and once again, it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

“The brunch here was fantastic! The passionfruit cocktail was refreshing, but not too sweet. The chopped salad was also excellent and something I would genuinely order again. The staff working were all so kind and showed me wonderful hospitality since I was dining alone. The house made fennel sausage was perfectly juicy and full of flavor. It was a marvelous meal and as a local, definitely a place I would go back to !!“

The burger and fries was okay. Disappointed that they say it's a 1/2 pound patty but this was not, it was barely a 1/4 pounder. It tasted fine, but was just very small compared to the menu description.

“We heard about your birthday special of Turf and Surf and decided to take advantage of it. Easy to make the reservation online. We got there and were seated quickly. We had the calamari and shrimp appetizer which was great! We shared a bowl of the clam chowder which was the best I had in years! The birthday girl got the Turf and Surf and I had the Shrimp Pasta with vodka sauce. Both were very good! We ended up taking half of it home! Our server, Adam, was very nice and even took pictures of us to mark the occasion. Overall, we had a great experience! We would definitely do it again!“

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. “Amazing first impression. I don't normally write reviews for a first experience, but this deserves an exception. I got their chicken Alfredo, and have a garlic allergy. He was able to accommodate it which took a little extra prep time, and I still felt well after eating. The portion was large enough it made for an excellent leftovers lunch today, too. So good! I can't wait to go back for this item again. The restaurant is mostly designed for take-out, and I appreciate seeing the A rating in the window and cleanliness of their food prep area. I am interested in other menu items, too, and hope to order again soon. I appreciate how wonderful the food was, and the ownder's kindness to be able to accommodate my unusual request. As soon as I submitted the online order, he called me to verify my order info was correct. Two thumbs up for me!“

“Dined here on a recent trip home to Cali. The food at Yardhouse is reliably good no matter the state. I had four people with me and everyone enjoyed their food. The service wasn't great. There were items overlooked and the waitress was unattentive.“

“Lovely place. Unfortunately for us, we've been passing this restaurant by for years, as there is almost always a small crowd waiting outside for a table. However, today we took a chance, parked on the street near the restaurant & ventured inside. -- The decor is not fancy, but the atmosphere is friendly, light & inviting. And, the smells coming from the kitchen, as well as the custom coffee drinks was enticing.
-- Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, explained several dishes, answered questions we had about drinks, menu options, made solid recommendations, and easily took our orders. -- The drinks arrived fairly quickly, followed a few minutes later by our requested orders. Our meals were hot & freshly prepared as ordered (& had not been left sitting under warming lights.) The items we chose were very tasty, the fresh fruit cups were chilled & appeared to be prepped shortly before the meal was served. Very nice. Long before we had finished eating, we'd decided we would be returning to this hidden little gem on PCH to adventure further into the menu & sample some additional treats prepared by the chef & staff. We loved it. $$“

“We picked this restaurant based on the ratings. We were visiting from out of town. So we walked the 20 min to try it out. It was thoroughly worth it. We were greeted and seated right away. The server, Samantha was a delight. We had the shrimp and grits and skillet with chicken with biscuits. Everything was flavorful. Looking forward to visiting again when we come back. Also service was impeccable.“
