The red onion focaccia bread with herb and Parmesan butter, added Burrata - best- seller, a must. The 3 day brined smoked fried chicken-different taste, with soy and Chiles, a must!!!The Peruvian pork belly with sweet potato , Criolla and crispy quinoa , love it! And the Grilled NY steak with green garlic chimichurri, chorizo aioli and pommes pont neuf, thick cut fries…my son prefers over the fried chicken.“

“Was pleasantly surprised with the food of this place. Relatively easy to get a reservation during the week. Definitely recommend sitting outside with the bonfire pits. Service was a little slow and the we got our food very spaced out hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.“

The breakfast burrito is my favorite in all of LA but the dinner experience, the atmosphere is very fun it’s the perfect spot for casual family friendly dinner where the food is amazing The burger was delicious and so are the fish tacos. finally, the banana bread for dessert was so tasty.“

“Tonight we, my husband and I, with our dear friends, the Crays, dined at Tomat for the first of what will be many times. The restaurant features a dining room and a roof top patio. A welcoming, comfortable space. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about all menu items. Our server Miley took excellent care of us throughout dinner and dessert. She assisted us with choosing items that would pair well with each other. She was never too busy to stop to see if everything was to our liking. She brought the chef to our table so we could let him know personally how much we enjoyed his creations. He gave us a bit of background on his plan of sustainability and creativity for his restaurant. The food was amazing. We had several appetizers. The tuna carpaccio was amazing, light and dark tuna with the freshest tomatoes. The welsh rarebit was so delicious. The weiser melon with strawberry kimchi was a delicious surprise. The house milled saffron rice was amazing. Our mains did not disappoint. The trout and chips were excellent. Everyone at the table said “best trout we have ever had”. The vegetable chips were outstanding. The vaca vieja ribeye was perfectly cooked. The pork three ways with chamoy was also perfectly cooked. Dessert was madelines, warm from the oven, with the strawberry sorbet and the saffron ice cream. All were outstanding. Overall, this was a fabulous dining experience. Great food with great service in such a comfortable atmosphere. And, we have already made reservations for next month!“

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“

“As always, the food was amazing. Every dish was good. Highly recommend the Crostini, Parker house rolls, and octopus for appetizers. Salmon was cooked perfectly, the scallops and pesto pasta light and bright, the bolognese pasta tasty and not to heavy, and the sea bass was melt in your mouth. My all time favorite is the chili and lime avocado salad. Service not only from our server, but all the other workers, including the hostess that seated us were all incredible,“

“For starters our server, Evan was an absolute pleasure to spend the evening with. The wine selection was really awesome. Our drinks were good and our food was even better. I had the love letters. He had the spicy pizza he started with the carpaccio and ended with a tiramisu and lemon cello. I highly recommend this place. It really was a wonderful evening and we know good food.“

“Overall a nice stay: friendly staff, nice updated facilities, free ♿️ valet👌-3 to 4 blocks from beach. Very expensive at $500 per night, used the 2 $10 free tickets at bar for 2 drinks and still owed $8.36. This was the host hotel and stayed 2 nights Fri/Sat July 22-23, 2022, with hamburger & soup in room, total $1100. T.“

“Maxine was our server, and she was so attentive while giving us amazing recommendations from the menu. Everything we ordered was incredible! We started with the Asian wings and the Hamachi Crudo, and both were absolutely delicious. For our entrées, we had the skirt steak and the smash burger. And let me just say... the pickle aioli was FIRE! OMG! I can't believe I've never had pickle aioli before, especially since I'm obsessed with pickles. It was SO good! To top it all off, they had a nostalgic McDonald's chocolate dipped ice cream cone for dessert. I had to have it! The vanilla ice cream was softer than the McD's version but overall delicious. They packaged it to go for us so we could walk around the beach while eating it, which was honestly the perfect way to end our dinner. We'll definitely be back!“

“Always a great meal at HT Grill. Surf n Turf was awesome - filet was grilled just right, lobster tail cooked perfectly. Shrimp pasta with vodka sauce was tasty good and had a little kick. Too bad no bread basket to help sop up the juices & sauces. Only drawback was at the bar where the flies were buzzing around the beer taps. Overall, look forward to returning.“

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. “This place has a menu that recalls Cheesecake Factory, insofar as it ranges so far and wide -- from pizza to tacos to thai to steaks to burgers...And from what we've seen, they actually pull it off! We enjoyed our Firecracker shrimp appetizer, the Ceasar salad with salmon, and my Thai-spiced grilled pork chop. Service was friendly and attentive, the place looked great, and my only negative point is that our after-dinner coffee wasn't particularly hot. Great place. Go there.“

“the service was spectacular. really fun group of servers... food = excellent - exception: chicken appetizer a little greasy/ excessively fried but everything else: salmon, hamachi, avocado fries, duck tacos, etc. was great. a little too loud at first due to boisterous group in the bar right next to our table. acoustics are not great for conversation when the bar is hopping. this is my second time and I will come back.“
