“Vicky’s has easily become my favorite place to eat. The staff is very friendly and the food is consistently delicious. This is a great date spot, a place to meet friends or the go-to for take away when you don’t feel like cooking but want something that hits home every time. They have perhaps the best breakfast sandwich in all of LA and everything else on the menu is worth ordering. I highly recommend Vicky’s All Day because I could eat there every day.“

Food is always quite pricey and nothing special, but the staff will treat you well and you will enjoy the floor to ceiling views over the pier. Tita served us well at the bar, and she and Jason made great drinks. I also got the crab cakes this time, which I thought were one of the deals on the menu. Again, nothing delectable there--more Cajun style than Chesapeake or CA, fyi.“

“I'm looking forward to my next stop at MB Post. I had a reservation for 3 at 7:15 on a Saturday night. We arrived a little early, checked in and waited at the bar for our table. The bar was crowded and the staff busy but our drink order was taken quickly. Cocktails were delicious, #Blessed will be my go-to here. It took a bit longer to get our drinks than we had anticipated. We waited for our table about 20 minutes beyond the time of our reservation and we had to circle back to the host to inquire how much longer before we would be seated. Our table was in the corner next to the kitchen and a service nook, loud and busy; next time I'll make a note to request a table away from the kitchen. It's a boisterous restaurant and the corner amplified the energy. We ordered the carrots, gnocchi, green beans and biscuits---all were incredibly delicious with the green beans being our favorite. Our server was prompt, courteous, food arrived without a long delay. We enjoyed Lola cab sauv with dinner. I gave the 4 stars for the service at the bar our need to check on our table. Overall a great experience and I will certainly be back.“

The $19 4-Stix combo easily feeds two average lunch appetites, as it comes with rice + salad + an additional side. $19 FOR TWO PEOPLE?! It didn't look like much as you enter but walk through the bar and you've stepped into an open dining space with tables close enough to feel in community but private enough to chat! The food was delicious... we had the avo/beet salad and Caccio e Pepe along with the avo toast appetizer and the blueberry cobbler for dessert. Sitting to note, their happy hour is well worth showing up early for... we did dirty martinis for $10!! The service was on point- Kenny was a gracious host who made us feel cared for! Great beer options, well stocked bar, and a very good kitchen are all available to the visitor. I came by for lunch and ordered the cheese steak sandwich. It was AMAZING. They use truffle cheese, great bread, and the whole thing was delicious. Small pickle slice and pickled veggie garnish was a great touch. Service is solid and the place was not very crowded at noontime. Lots of live music and other stuff going on at night too.“

Really cool selection of Propagator-specific beers, plus a range of the famous barrel-aged heavy stuff on-tap. The company store isn't particularly big, but with quality stuff (Yetis, jackets, etc.) and a huge walk-in fridge full of vintage options at fair prices.“

“This was our first private chef experience and without a doubt it blew us away! The attention to detail Chefs Juan and Nicole gave us was amazing. It was our 8 year wedding anniversary and they made it that much better. My wife had the filet mignon and I had the ribeye and the dry rub they use for the steaks was so good that I had to take some home and Chef Juan was gracious enough to share his secret rub. You can tell with just a couple minutes of conversation they are passionate about their craft and it shows in the quality and taste of the food. We had some fresh margarita cocktails to along side the dinner and you can taste the freshness as-well. I just wish I was able to take pictures of the night and the food but my wife and I enjoyed a couple hours of just us time for the first time in a long time. Thank you Chefs!!“

“Having seen it featured on Remarkable Places to Eat, and read the positive recommendations on Trip Advisor, I had to visit Glen's Kitchen when I was passing through Bristol. Caribbean cuisine is not normally high on my list of choices for a meal; however...... I got to Glen's just as breakfast was finishing and before lunch was starting but Glen and his staff looked after me and served me as quickly as they could. I chose the Goat Curry with rice and peas. It was absolutely delicious. I now appreciate how enjoyable Caribbean cuisine can be and will return sometime to try the J*** Chicken. Glen himself came out to see me and I was touched that he took time to do this. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble for himself and his staff. You will have to seek out Glen's Kitchen if you are a visitor to the area as it is off the beaten track somewhat but it is well worth the visit. The fact that people go out of their way to eat there says it all. The food, value and service are superb. Glen deserves all the praise he has received and I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone who likes Caribbean food, and even those like me who are not connoisseurs may find themselves converted!“

“We ended up here recently on our way to the airport - a happy accident if you will (the first place we tried didn't let anyone under 21 in and we had kids with us...). The Obaasan chicken sandwich and the Spam Musubi burger were both amazing! The sauce on the Obaasan was stellar. The Spam Musubi burger was flavorful - only complaint food-wise is the fried egg was solid so no runny yolk on burger, making it a little dry. The kids' popcorn chicken and burger were both well-liked too. Service was friendly and attentive. We sat on the patio because that was what was available for 4, and appreciated that they turned on the heater for us. The view outside was basically the trashcan while the servers came and scraped all trays into the outdoor trashcan throughout our meal. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable meal.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kid menu, though it's not posted. It was a burger, popcorn chicken, a plain hot dog, or grilled cheese.“
