“We stopped here after biking the beach path for a couple of hours, wow it was so good!

Food was beyond expectations. We got the waygo cheeseburger, Cobb salad, and onion rings. All three were delicious, but especially the burger and salad.

Burger: thick, juicy, flavorful - best one I've had in the past year.

Salad: beautifully composed, perfectly ripe tomatoes and avacado, TONS of blue cheese and bacon, and they tossed the greens before. Excellent!

“Decadence is the place to come for great cocktails and food. They have excellent service and provide amazing music on the weekends. I brought my friends to decadence and had a great time! Did I mention the amazing ambiance! Great for a night out in Hermosa beach! Highly recommend!“

“I’ve been to Felix multiple times over the years, and in general, I think it’s a fantastic restaurant with consistently high-quality food. That’s why this review is disappointing to write.

The last two pasta dishes I’ve ordered have been underwhelming. My previous visit, the carbonara fell short, and this time the cacio e pepe was even more disappointing.

The cacio e pepe was overwhelmingly peppery, lacked the rich, creamy Pecorino Romano flavor that defines the dish, and tasted like it had little to no cheese. It was nothing like a proper cacio e pepe should be. I had just returned from Italy a few weeks ago, where I ate authentic cacio e pepe at small local trattorias, so I know exactly how beautifully simple and balanced this dish can be. Unfortunately, Felix’s version completely missed the mark. Considering the restaurant’s reputation and premium prices, I expected much more.

To make matters worse, the service at the bar was disappointing. Not once during the meal did anyone ask how the food was or whether everything was okay. A simple check-in could have given us the opportunity to share our concerns while we were there.

I genuinely hope the team takes this feedback constructively because Felix is still a great restaurant overall, and I’ve had many excellent meals here. That’s exactly why these last two visits have been so surprising. I hope they address these issues and bring the pasta back to the standard that made Felix such a standout in the first place.“

“Tonight we, my husband and I, with our dear friends, the Crays, dined at Tomat for the first of what will be many times. The restaurant features a dining room and a roof top patio. A welcoming, comfortable space. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about all menu items. Our server Miley took excellent care of us throughout dinner and dessert. She assisted us with choosing items that would pair well with each other. She was never too busy to stop to see if everything was to our liking. She brought the chef to our table so we could let him know personally how much we enjoyed his creations. He gave us a bit of background on his plan of sustainability and creativity for his restaurant. The food was amazing. We had several appetizers. The tuna carpaccio was amazing, light and dark tuna with the freshest tomatoes. The welsh rarebit was so delicious. The weiser melon with strawberry kimchi was a delicious surprise. The house milled saffron rice was amazing. Our mains did not disappoint. The trout and chips were excellent. Everyone at the table said “best trout we have ever had”. The vegetable chips were outstanding. The vaca vieja ribeye was perfectly cooked. The pork three ways with chamoy was also perfectly cooked. Dessert was madelines, warm from the oven, with the strawberry sorbet and the saffron ice cream. All were outstanding. Overall, this was a fabulous dining experience. Great food with great service in such a comfortable atmosphere. And, we have already made reservations for next month!“

The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Convenient Valet parking. It was our first time visiting Dear Jane, so we'll have to give it another try during not too busy time.“

“We ordered first from the happy hour menu, then the bar menu. Everything delicious! Margarita was one of the best I’ve had - no filler juices!

Scallops perfectly cooked. Seafood sausage was a little non-descript in flavor and would have benefited being accompanied by steak knives. The French fries done in bacon fat were amazing. Brussels sprout preparation was a refreshing and delicious change from what’s offered at most restaurants / shredded and tossed in Caesar flavored dressing, topped with bread crumb / cheese crust.

And the Tuesday special - the chicken pot pie! Run don’t walk. Perfectly seasoned and lots of great chicken flavor. And the pastry crust topping / thin and crispy tender. Just exceptional! (From someone who makes her own — maybe I’ll stop making it when I can order such a good one!)“

recorded R&B. It's a lively and fun place to hang. There's cocktails, beer, music and pool tables. A diverse friendly crowd. They let you Postmate or bring food. There's even an outdoor patio.“

“This bar is awesome! We heard that it was the smallest bar in LA and expected to be greeted by regulars who resented our presence. We experienced the complete opposite. The bartender Pete immediately recognized my Midwest accent and engaged myself and my 2 adult children in conversation. The locals at the bar were also very engaging. Many reviews I have read described it as a dive. I completely disagree with that assessment. It is a local bar that is very welcoming to any patron. Keep in mind it is cash only! “In the neighborhood, and we’re looking for some good Mexican food and we found it! Small establishment run by people who obviously care. Food is fresh and seasoned beautifully and cooked with Obvious love. Staff was wonderful you ordered a selection of tacos and every single one was spectacular. Also ordered a burrito.(I was really hungry) Which was perfect easy to hold grill around the outside crunchy and so delicious! Cannot recommend highly enough!“

“Everytume we go out around a Holiday, can be precarious. Restaurant only had a couple of parties . One guy at the counter bar. Right where're we requested our seating at reservation. Obviously, no one read the request and didn't care. Got the eye roll gesture body language. Typically, the Restaurant is on top of it. Still the fish tacos are outstanding and chicken nachos Loved the food. We've been patrons since Hudson House open and always will be!!“

“The Washington is one of those spots that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto a hidden gem. It's got that cozy, intimate vibe that makes it perfect for date night or just catching up with a friend over a drink. The cocktails are excellent- thoughtful, creative, and made with care (not just thrown together like you find at so many places). Our bartender treated that drink like a piece of art!

It's very much a locals' bar, and that's what makes it special. You can actually have a conversation without shouting over the music, and the staff makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of place you want to keep coming back to.

“We just held our company holiday party at The Corner Door and had the best time!

We were a group of about 40 and from the very beginning, Liz made the entire process so easy and stress free. She was always available with quick replies to questions, flexible with any requests we had made, and genuinely excited to have us and was just wonderful. I got to meet Zach the night of the event and he was exactly the same way. They both understand hospitality and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The staff that night made amazing drinks and the food was delicious. On top of that, the room itself is already a beautiful space, but when we walked in and saw it decked out in the holiday lights, we knew right away we made the perfect choice in Corner Door. Everyone remarked on what a great time they had so thanks Corner Door for making it so special! We will be back!“
