“First time here meeting up with the homie to watch some basketball and enjoy some happy hour. Parking over here is usually a pain in the butt and as usual it was. Of course the one electric car charger was taken by a non electric car. Anyway i ordered the asada fries and 2 tacos, those fries hit the spot. Man they were good. The vibe was cool, the drinks kept comin and the bartender was cool. Ill definitely good back. The price was so low i didnt even mind paying.“
“The food was tasty and quickly prepared. My girlfriend left her wallet there (cash inside) and the next day we went there to ask if it had been found. Monica was extremely helpful and walked to the office, and came back with her wallet! She wouldn’t even take a thank you tip. Big thumbs up for an honest crew, hard to find people that do the right thing these days! Thank you!!!“
“Sports bar vibes. They hold the famous turtle races every Thursday and Saturday. During the races there is a ton of shouting and cheering for which turtle you places your "bet" on. Arrive early and grab a seat or spot around the race circle and get ready to cheer for your favorite turtle. They have a ton of beer. But as a person who doesn't drink alcohol it is still a fun environment and they have sodas and redbulls. On other days they have trivia nights and pool tables and corn hole. It's a great spot for big groups. The food there is also surprisingly great. It's all bar food but at least it is good bar.“
“Enjoyed a nice after work meal. We ordered the carnivore pizza, lots of meat, thin crust and really good. The poke nachos is my new crave, it was very good, will always order it now. We had the cheese curds and they are so yummy! I always order the fried calamari but it was just so so this time. The server was a delight, forgot his name though. All in all a good meal.“
“Really like the place, with the modern ambiance and excellent food quality. Apparently the chef had gotten some recipes from Milan in Italy. The ingredients definitely tasted high quality and European. The pizzas and burrata were definitely a superior taste with soft cheese and a more delicate flavor. Bread was fresh and combination of soft and crisp. Go for the spicy oil. Spaghetti with vodka sauce was excellent. The fettuccine alfredo was more average - perhaps a little on the dry side. It has a dark but modern ambiance and a clean new vibe. Best pizza I have tried recently. Service was quick and American style friendly. Prices are in line with sit down restaurants and proportions are medium - not excessively sized. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Veg options.“
“Just moved to the area and went to check out this spot and I was pleasantly surprised! We loved the Happy Hour! And you can't beat those views. It was on point with great daily deals! I will def be back! Check the HH menu for daily specials.“
“Awesome place in a beautiful location. Yes it's pricey, but the location kind of tips that off. A great place to get a delicious steaming bowl of shrimp in spicy broth, with a big plate of fresh bread to dip in it. This is the kind of dish you get a craving for every once in a while, and is the only place I know of to get it. Oh yeah...the Wedge salad was delicious too. Rode the Motorcycle over the San Pedro bridges, then up to Clutters Park in El Segundo to watch the Jets taking off and landing at LAX, then on to Marina del Rey to dine at Killer Shrimp. Wife had the bowl of shrimp, delicious as usual and I had the roasted Halibut with roasted vegetables which was also fantastic. Satisfied as usual! Made for a great day and a great ride topped off with a great dinner.“
“Came here to bid good luck and see you soon to some friends who are moving out of state. Can't beat the view at dusk : boats bobbing, sun setting and harbor seals barking! The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining, some nights with live music entertainment, happy hour for those who need to unwind. Our group of 12 has reservations and we're were seated quickly even as some were still arriving. Valet parking available, there did not seem to be any public parking but we managed to snag empty spots with no problem. Friendly and helpful waiter Benny, suggested upgrading the lam chop appetizers from three to six more to share. Appetizers : solid 8/10. Lamb chop lollipops served with frisée on tatziki, Spicy meatballs in marinara sauce, crispy calamari, and some complementary buttered toast. A very nice Pinot noir called Meiomi was great accompaniment. I got as a meal the crab cake and a side of crispy roasted Brussels sprouts. The crab cake was adequate but it was too finely processed or maybe from frozen : 5/10. I did see a nearby table order the seafood tower and that looked impressive enough. Filet mignon served as requested by other diners : medium rare, they seemed to enjoy this. jidori chicken and PEI mussels in white wine also were served to others who had no complaints. Chef Gerree came out to greet us and very generously sent out desserts to share. Two of us had February birthdays but we both had candles to blow out ! I thought that was very sweet: Basque cheesecake: 10/10 Coffee chocolate mousse: 10/10 Mini almond muffins were both crunchy and moist: 15/10 : I could eat a whole dozen they were delectable. Good for out of town guests to experience.“
“This place is great. The food is great, and the drinks hit the spot. The cucumber jalapeño margarita is my best friend. lol the pasta a la diabla with shrimp will not disappoint, I promise. Great service is a must in my book, and they deliver. The atmosphere, well, they have amazing decor, the music is on point that combine with happy hour margaritas and its a great evening at Kalaveras“
“So many delicious choices but in my opinion the Bougie fish sticks are a must! We ordered them along with fresh baked bread and the chopped shrimp louie salad for a perfect light and delicious early dinner. Of course you'll need to pair the meal with one (or two) of the excellent wines by the glass. The dessert menu is also worth a look. The view is great, the service outstanding and the menu innovative.“
