This is the place. I was looking for somewhere to have a relaxed drink on my own after a concert, and I’m so glad I found it.
I sat at the bar, ordered a High Voltage, and they served me an absolutely delicious mezcal. Before I knew it, I was chatting with locals, feeling completely welcome, and having a genuinely great night.

Amazing spot! Been around sine 1920s! Atmosphere and drinks are great!

Frank 'n Hank is a gem of a dive bar that exudes a homey, family-run vibe. With reasonably priced drinks and a rich history, this bar is a must-visit in Koreatown. The bartenders provide excellent service and are known for being super kind and chill. On slow nights, they can even challenge customers to a game of darts or DJ if the jukebox isn't working. The bar features TVs for watching sports, a scruffy pool table, and a well-stocked jukebox. Although parking can be a challenge, the diverse and friendly crowd makes up for it. While there's no good bar food, customers are welcome to bring their own or grab a bite from nearby restaurants, including Monty's and Carl's Jr. With a legacy of original owners still visiting, Frank 'n Hank is a classic dive bar that's sure to provide a good time. The atmosphere is safe and inviting, making it a great spot to relax, read, or enjoy some time alone. The bathrooms have that classic dive bar charm, and the heavy pours add to the appeal.
