“I had a great experience here. I called once we landed to see if we would be able to check in early, and they said yes. My husband was so sick from the plane ride, so we were grateful for that. The room we were given wasn’t cleaned, but the front desk immediately found us one that was ready. I love the waiting area set up, and there was a cute large connect 4 game. I enjoyed a drink a bar, the bartender was very sweet. The floors are confusing, so be sure to ask the staff what floor your room is on. Parking was simple, it’s designated just for the hotel. You can pay hourly or do all day. There is a shuttle to the airport I think. We rented a vehicle though. You are walking distance from a pharmacy and a few restaurants. “I’ve been to Felix multiple times over the years, and in general, I think it’s a fantastic restaurant with consistently high-quality food. That’s why this review is disappointing to write.

The last two pasta dishes I’ve ordered have been underwhelming. My previous visit, the carbonara fell short, and this time the cacio e pepe was even more disappointing.

The cacio e pepe was overwhelmingly peppery, lacked the rich, creamy Pecorino Romano flavor that defines the dish, and tasted like it had little to no cheese. It was nothing like a proper cacio e pepe should be. I had just returned from Italy a few weeks ago, where I ate authentic cacio e pepe at small local trattorias, so I know exactly how beautifully simple and balanced this dish can be. Unfortunately, Felix’s version completely missed the mark. Considering the restaurant’s reputation and premium prices, I expected much more.

To make matters worse, the service at the bar was disappointing. Not once during the meal did anyone ask how the food was or whether everything was okay. A simple check-in could have given us the opportunity to share our concerns while we were there.

I genuinely hope the team takes this feedback constructively because Felix is still a great restaurant overall, and I’ve had many excellent meals here. That’s exactly why these last two visits have been so surprising. I hope they address these issues and bring the pasta back to the standard that made Felix such a standout in the first place.“

“Tonight we, my husband and I, with our dear friends, the Crays, dined at Tomat for the first of what will be many times. The restaurant features a dining room and a roof top patio. A welcoming, comfortable space. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about all menu items. Our server Miley took excellent care of us throughout dinner and dessert. She assisted us with choosing items that would pair well with each other. She was never too busy to stop to see if everything was to our liking. She brought the chef to our table so we could let him know personally how much we enjoyed his creations. He gave us a bit of background on his plan of sustainability and creativity for his restaurant. The food was amazing. We had several appetizers. The tuna carpaccio was amazing, light and dark tuna with the freshest tomatoes. The welsh rarebit was so delicious. The weiser melon with strawberry kimchi was a delicious surprise. The house milled saffron rice was amazing. Our mains did not disappoint. The trout and chips were excellent. Everyone at the table said “best trout we have ever had”. The vegetable chips were outstanding. The vaca vieja ribeye was perfectly cooked. The pork three ways with chamoy was also perfectly cooked. Dessert was madelines, warm from the oven, with the strawberry sorbet and the saffron ice cream. All were outstanding. Overall, this was a fabulous dining experience. Great food with great service in such a comfortable atmosphere. And, we have already made reservations for next month!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Laurel Grill and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and provided friendly, attentive service throughout the entire meal without ever making us feel rushed. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. Every dish arrived fresh, full of flavor, and cooked exactly as ordered. You can really tell that the kitchen takes pride in using quality ingredients and paying attention to every detail. I especially appreciated the generous portion sizes, which made the meal feel like an incredible value. The drinks were also great and paired perfectly with our food. The restaurant was clean, well organized, and had a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy time with family and friends. “Went to coucou with a friend to celebrate my birthday. This is on Main Street and there's parking on thr street and there's an underground parking lot on Navy with great service and a flat rate of $9/hr.

The place is small and I went around 6pm so right after happy hour so it was a bit loud but it calmed down after. There is a 3 for $33 deal that is pretty amazing for happy hour. Pretty much all the appetizers. You are allowed to pick 1 drink and 2 food items. I got the classic aperol, it had a little too much aperol for my taste but still good and refreshing.

We got the Zucchini bingets and they were tasty, cheesy. Almost like a fritter but not so much. Also got the fries as well. They were good.

I got the mussels marinere with the coconut cream sauce and honestly I love when places offer mussels in a different kind of sauce than just white wine and garlic. The toast was perfection. My friend got the grilled chicken Paillard and she liked it, came with a side of red sauce. I'll be back for the happy hour to try the apps with seafood. I didn't get w chance to since my friend doesn't eat it. They even gave me a the chocolate mousse with a candle.“
