“Everything about this place is awesome! Ishmael helped us and his whole vibe was chill (in the best way possible) and kind. The tea was wonderful and the food was delicious - so.much.food. My only adjustment to the whole experience would be to turn by one quarter how people are seated at the tables. My daughter sat with her back to the door and I was facing her. The glare from outside was pretty bright so I wore my sunglasses most of the time. We probably should have just taken it upon ourselves to scoot around.“

“Meet Me at the Mary.
Most Tuesdays the Queen Mary has an event called Meet Me at the Mary. You must make reservations online. 4-8 pm. Gives you free access to the whole ship, parking is discounted to $10. (you must validate at the bar).
You cannot beat the atmosphere and view. 1930's decor. Live band with singer, playing big band music.
You can self-tour the ship before or after. (Engine room closes at 6pm).
They discontinued happy hour prices November 2025.
Food was great. We had a Flatbread (Queen Mary 3 Stacks, sorry we ate half in the picture) and Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bistro Chips.
A bit pricey but well worth it.“

“My sister and I were visiting from Atlanta last week for her birthday and we decided to get a few drinks from Tokyo Noir. The vibe was excellent and the drinks were phenomenal. It might look like your average bar but nowhere else will you find the creative drinks that you'll find here on to the free pool on Monday's and the verity of different DJ's spinning everything from old school to Jazz to Goth to Punk rock on to Heavy Metal and more. “It's not a bad place. It's a good stop for a cold beer. Especially for me because I am in a Handiman scooter when I am running out of power. They always let me charge up myt scooter while I have a beer. Otherwise I will not make it home. And some days it's not a laughing matter. It's that close of a call. The bartender seems nice. “My buddies and I stumbled upon this little bar by chance. We were the only “gringos” there, but we were welcomed as if by old friends. They women who tended bar and served us were gracious hosts. It was very clean and well appointed. We had a blast, bought a shirt, and would recommend to others looking for a cold cerveza.“
“I am a femme lesbian. I am quiet, tend to just enjoy my alone time and mind my own business. I stopped in here last night because I'm traveling solo and wanted a safe place to hang out around like-minded queer folks. Brought a notebook because I didn't feel like staring at my phone. Disappointingly, I was heckled by a patron who insisted I was straight, didn't belong, and was only there because I wanted attention. They weren't quiet about it. Appeared to be a regular.
The staff were otherwise kind and welcoming. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I do feel that general social atmosphere is a pretty major contributor to overall quality/safety, especially in queer-forward spaces.“

“The food is amazing 10/10 but the outdoor patio dinning is awful. You cannot have a conversation because the sound echos so loudly and when the staff moves tables around they drag it along the tile and all of the tables have to stop and wait till they are done to be able to speak again with your table.“

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!“

“I used to come here all the time for years and this was my first time back since the pandemic..
I had some lemon pepper wings which were good.. But that was the only food I had so can't really talk about food so much..
The drink menu was a lot different than it was under the previous ownership.. but I opted for wine so I can't speak to any of the mixed drinks.
They still have the music which is pretty much the only reason I ever went. I caught the tail end of the led zeppelin cover band which is totally not my thing.. Never been a fan of heavy metal...it's s very loud for no reason but the audience clearly came to see them and loved them..
After them comes the reggae, which is what I came for and in times past it was an entire band which is what I thought I was going to go see, but it was only one guy doing music.. And for it to only be one guy, it took him a long time to get set up and started..
Solo guy wasn't really my thing, you can't really bring it like a band can..We stayed for one song and left..
The inside atmosphere is pretty much the same as it's always been, you know. Lots of cool people having a good time but the music selection for this time around just wasn't for me...
My suggestion would be to update the Facebook page with who the artists are for each weekend to save people the hassle who don't want to come here's certain bands or people.. Maybe try like some of the restaurants like Spagettini and Kobe's and have a music menu calendar so it's clear to people who they're coming to see..
A good R & B cover band would be a good addition to the music rotation..
On a side note, there has been a older gentleman that I have seen come there for years..he totally gives hippie who was at woodstock and had one too many shrooms, he pretty much stands in one spot and jumps around but it was good to see that he's still alive and well and doing the same thing!!
But for those wondering how it is under the new management it's still the exact same thing.. Good people, good vibes, and it's at the beach so, you will have a good time no matter what.“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

The lobster roll needed a little seasoning but overall I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Hard to find parking and it’s not a big place(just the type of area). I’m going back for the New Orleans Oyster ALONE 😋!“
