“I ABSOLUTELY love this place! There is always something going on here whether it's live jazz, a game night, etc. Their cocktails are priced at around $18, but they are very unique and totally worth it! It is a small and cozy place with dark atmospheric vibes but there is also a tiny balcony area up top if you want to get away from the noise. Staff was awesome and so were the guests that were there. I totally recommend this place for some good drinks and a great atmosphere! Parking can be tough because it's only street parking.“

“Meet Me at the Mary.
Most Tuesdays the Queen Mary has an event called Meet Me at the Mary. You must make reservations online. 4-8 pm. Gives you free access to the whole ship, parking is discounted to $10. (you must validate at the bar).
You cannot beat the atmosphere and view. 1930's decor. Live band with singer, playing big band music.
You can self-tour the ship before or after. (Engine room closes at 6pm).
They discontinued happy hour prices November 2025.
Food was great. We had a Flatbread (Queen Mary 3 Stacks, sorry we ate half in the picture) and Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bistro Chips.
A bit pricey but well worth it.“

“A very unique menu of drinks I wouldn’t see often. If you are someone who is willing to push your own boundaries of flavor and music profile- this is the place for you. The live music was fantastic- if I was a local I would be here more often. The band was great and the drinks made the place even better. Clean bathrooms, good priced highball drinks, good food.“

“The food is amazing 10/10 but the outdoor patio dinning is awful. You cannot have a conversation because the sound echos so loudly and when the staff moves tables around they drag it along the tile and all of the tables have to stop and wait till they are done to be able to speak again with your table.“

“We stopped here after biking the beach path for a couple of hours, wow it was so good!
Food was beyond expectations. We got the waygo cheeseburger, Cobb salad, and onion rings. All three were delicious, but especially the burger and salad.
Burger: thick, juicy, flavorful - best one I've had in the past year.
Salad: beautifully composed, perfectly ripe tomatoes and avacado, TONS of blue cheese and bacon, and they tossed the greens before. Excellent!

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!“

A throw back to simpler time when you were not overwhelmed with menu options or craft beer choices.

“My buddies and I stumbled upon this little bar by chance. We were the only “gringos” there, but we were welcomed as if by old friends. They women who tended bar and served us were gracious hosts. It was very clean and well appointed. We had a blast, bought a shirt, and would recommend to others looking for a cold cerveza.“

“A wonderful speak easy for a cozy date or a solo wanderlust night out. From the red lanterns to the nook style row of chairs by the bar, the entire ambiance mimics the hole in the wall Japanese bars of shinjiku and shibuya. Almost every nostalgic Japanese whiskey and gin is available in well curated cocktails. The paid vacation was my choice“
“I am a femme lesbian. I am quiet, tend to just enjoy my alone time and mind my own business. I stopped in here last night because I'm traveling solo and wanted a safe place to hang out around like-minded queer folks. Brought a notebook because I didn't feel like staring at my phone. Disappointingly, I was heckled by a patron who insisted I was straight, didn't belong, and was only there because I wanted attention. They weren't quiet about it. Appeared to be a regular.
The staff were otherwise kind and welcoming. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I do feel that general social atmosphere is a pretty major contributor to overall quality/safety, especially in queer-forward spaces.“
“It's not a bad place. It's a good stop for a cold beer. Especially for me because I am in a Handiman scooter when I am running out of power. They always let me charge up myt scooter while I have a beer. Otherwise I will not make it home. And some days it's not a laughing matter. It's that close of a call. The bartender seems nice. But she is busy with other people. And that is good for business.“

“Everytume we go out around a Holiday, can be precarious. Restaurant only had a couple of parties . One guy at the counter bar. Right where're we requested our seating at reservation. Obviously, no one read the request and didn't care. Got the eye roll gesture body language. Typically, the Restaurant is on top of it. Still the fish tacos are outstanding and chicken nachos Loved the food. We've been patrons since Hudson House open and always will be!!“

It might look like your average bar but nowhere else will you find the creative drinks that you'll find here on to the free pool on Monday's and the verity of different DJ's spinning everything from old school to Jazz to Goth to Punk rock on to Heavy Metal and more. Each weekend is a different vibe. You're just going to have to come on in and check it out.“

I’ve been coming here since they opened in March 2024 and it’s been fascinating to watch as they evolve; from enhancing their space with more decor, to switching up their robust selection of seasonal cocktails, and building a community that values ohana. The Hula Hula Room is the perfect place for your date, meet up with friends or family. Food is not served here, but you’re welcome to bring in takeout if you like.
