Small specialized menu, hole in the wall comfy feel, and most importantly, amazing personable service. Liam and Jessie behind the bar are fun, nice, and know and care about their craft. Try either the Gosei or Bartender's choice!
There's a hidden treasure in back of Playa Provisions. In the front door and keep walking straight, past the ice cream, and the restrooms then down a dark hall. There you'll find a door the leads into one of the best bars in the city, Grain. On a recent visit I opted for the 'Bartenders Special' saying only that I liked Rye. Omar prepared a cocktail for me that was a riff on a Greenpoint, which is itself a riff on a Manhattan that was the best cocktail I have had in a long time....read full review
Amazing spot, they have a new menu of BBQ themed cocktails which sounds weird but is actually really good and unique. I'll definitely be back.
