“BEST PIZZA IN THE SOUTH BAY! My boyfriend introduced me to this little gem a few years ago and I can honestly say any other pizza I try since doesn't come close to the amazing taste that Jack's pizza makes. We're lucky enough to live 3 minutes away from this place, so we usually pick up and bring the pie home, but it's always piping hot and perfection every time. I honestly don't go anywhere else for pizza since my first bite of Jack's pizza, and I can pretty much guarantee you won't either. This place has been around for a long long time, I think somewhere around the 80's and I hope they stay around making magic in the kitchen for many years to come. “We ordered ahead when they opened for the day, and when we arrived 15 minutes later we picked up our order. We had two extra large thai curry pizza with chicken and were able to sit down for lunch. It tasted good. There were peppers, chicken, and a lot of cheese on the pizza, with curry on the side as a dip or topping. The curry is slightly spicy, but good. Highly recommend.“

Meatball sub usually has cheese, onion, and bell pepper. I opted for no bell peppers. $7-8

The super steak has cheese, onions, mushrooms and bell pepper. $11-12

Both were so good!

There’s a lunch special small sub with chips and drink for $10!

Pizza crust is perfect chewy and good amount of chicken tikka on the pizza.
Also tried the Alu samosa, chicken curry, lamb biryani and garlic naan. Everyone in the group loved it. To be honest, I think this is the best Indian food spot in Torrance or Redondo Beach area. The manager is Nitin from India’s tandoori in Manhattan Beach and now he moved into this Curry and Pizza restaurant. He does excellent customer service and he is very friendly and professional. We know him for years and so happy he moved here.

“We had a great time at Jug Band! We drove up to see Kepi Ghoulie play and the space was very inviting. The staff was very nice and seemed really to enjoy themselves. We started out with lavender ice lattes and they were very good. The space was perfect and was able to fill up with people excited to listen to music. It seemed more like a private party where everyone was simply happy to be there. As the show winded down we took a pepperoni pizza to go. With the love and care put into everything else we knew the pizza was going to be good, but honestly we were absolutely blown away by how delicious the pizza was. The overall taste was great, but the dough itself is what really made this pizza stand out as top tier. It was light and airy, but crisp underneath. The flavor was amazing. My wife, daughters, and myself had a great time and will come by for more coffee, pizza, and good energy. Thanks Jug Band!“

After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing. To top it off, it’s family run and they are all the sweetest and most warm people I’ve encountered at any local restaurant. If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to stop by.“

“The food was great but we were yelled at as soon as we entered the pizza parlor. All the employees were nice except this very rude woman who accused us of breaking the front door, which had no posted signs outside that it was out of order. She seemed to be the manager as she barked orders to the nice gentleman who took our food order.
There was no way of knowing that the door was not functioning properly. The responsibility lies with the establishment's manager to properly notify customers if there are issues with the building. She's lucky the door didn't fall on us.“

We came in late after my son's award for middle school with about 5 buddies and families and it was already 8 o'clock or 730 and they treated us. Excellent food was great. Service was amazing. “I was staying at the Golden Sails Hotel in Long Beach for the 14th Annual SURF GUITAR Festival. Their front desk recommended Pizza X Two so they gave me a small paper menu they kept in the side office. I called and ordered a small 8-slice pineapple and ham pizza along with their deluxe Mac n cheese bowl. I don't write reviews very often but I just wanted to say that their deluxe Mac n cheese bowl was amazing 😋. The pizza was good, too.
